We loved it. They were so helpful in giving direction and accommodated us. The cabin had everything we needed and was so warm a cozy. We loved how it was convenient to so many attractions.

This place is beautiful!
Cotton Wood Cabin was extremely clean and the view was amazing from the back patio. Our beds were so comfortable and the hot water in the shower was so nice. We will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely cabins and area. However, except for one advance call to provide the rules and get a credit card, the property management did not offer any communication. Not even responding to us reporting a broken shower and dirty microwave. Also, the posting didn’t advise that the restaurant was closed for the season.

The tent was spacious and had all the amenities that we needed to be comfortable. Beds and pillows were great, we had a fire pit with wood and water provided. It was easy to get too and the bath house was wonderful with soaps, towels and all the necessities available.

Amazing everything
My friend and I go on a little weekend getaway every year, since we no longer live in the same state and barely get to see each other. This year, I suggested we go white water rafting in Colorado. When I was looking for a place to stay in Cañon City and these cabins popped up, I was extremely intrigued. After looking at all of the options, I decided that the 2 bed glamping tents was perfect for us. The staff was very hands on about getting all of my information before our arrival, so we could just go straight to our tent and not have to worry about checking in. The process was seamless. I got a phone call that morning even asking if I got the email with the proper information. Upon our arrival, we were in awe. Perfect location, beautiful scenery, and amazingly clean facilities. We were also provided with our own bundle of wood and a bag with fire starters in it each day we were there. I cannot recommend this place more. One of my favorite places I have ever stayed in my whole traveling life.

Wonderful glamping experience! The tent was bigger than our last hotel room and the beds were comfortable. Wood was provided for a nice evening fire and there was a coffee pot for morning. The bath house was very clean and well stocked with towels. As I read on other reviews, you can hear a lot of road traffic, but we didn’t mind it. Highly recommend!!

Great Property
This property is super cute. My daughter and I had the small Pine Cabin. It was comfy and cute. The bath house was comfortable and the property itself was very well kept. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or games but they’d be fun for a family. This place is so much cuter than an old hotel. The icing on the cake was I accidentally left my air pods behind and they actually overnighted them to me (I paid shipping). I was so happy, I thought they were gone forever! THANK YOU!

Great family getaway!
This is a great property. It's very neatly kept and was almost perfectly cleaned. The bed seems to have a plastic cover on it that made it a bit hot and noisy. Overall the bed was comfortable, however. The pillows and bedding were cozy. Mattress was comfortable. We loved having the fire pit out front of our cabin and the cabin was quite cozy. The shower room and bathroom was very clean and convenient. The restaurant across the street was very good. Check in was very easy. The location is super as it's equidistant between Canyon City and the Royal Gorge. The road traffic was a bit noisy the first night (Friday) but then much less noticeable the second. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely recommend it and we can't wait to try the canvas style since we were in the log cabin.

Cabin was roomy, clean and had an excellent layout. The Mountain View in the background was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The only thing that we didn’t like was the properties’ close proximity to Hwy 50. If you were sitting in the back porch in the evening you could hear cars. That’s only a minor issue and did not prevent us from enjoying our stay.

Wonderful property with gorgeous views. My only complaints are that the television is positioned too high and the lighting above was distracting. Thankfully there is tons of things to do in the great outdoors.

Best cabin rental
This cabin was absolutely amazing! It honestly surpassed any expectation I had when booking. The cabin was a perfect size with all the ammenities and had the most amazing views. Checked in late but the staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone. Definitely booking again, 10/10!

Glamping? I'm in!
Amazing stay in one of the luxury tents. They supply you with two towels and wash clothes (extra towels and soap supplies in the bath house), a heater when it gets chilly out, and an ice box (literally) in case you needed to keep anything cold. May want to bring ice if you want to use it. They might have had ice on site, but we didn't use any so we are unaware if that can be purchased/retrieved on site. For outside the tent, they supplied us with a little bag that you place on your campfire that helps with starting everything catch fire. The stools around the fire were very nice, and they had two chairs up on our porch that we could have used if we had wanted. Great star gazing there being little light pollution. Note that you may hear some traffic off the main road (noisy trucks that have more serious exhausts/engines) earlier in the evening, but it calms down as the night goes onward. The bath house here is quite nice as well. There is a HIs and Hers side in the facility. It's warmer in the bath house, and their are soaps, shampoo, and conditioner in each of the 4 or so stalls. I had the facility to myself each time I was in there. Showers felt great. Just let it warm up for 1 minute and you'll be treated with a revitalizing and muscle relaxing rainfall type shower. We stayed with them the evening of Sept 30-October 1. After we checked out they were closing down our tents for the winter season to come. Would absolutely stay with them again next Spring/Summer.

What a perfect stay! We arrived at check-in with our items ready to grill. Enjoyed spending time by the fire watching the sunset and viewing the wildlife around us. Such a relaxing night! Would definitely recommend!

I wasn’t going to give a review because selfishly I wanted to keep this place a secret but this place was awesome. Clean quiet yes you had to battle the bugs but it’s in the mountains so it’s expected. I only stayed one night so I couldn’t really enjoy the place but trust me I will be back and it will be a longer stay!!!

Great setup but poor location next to a busy road
Not an ideal location as tents were located near a busy road that kept us up all night. Also could not locate ice and staff was not responsive to multi emails I sent

We loved our stay at Royal Gorge Cabins and wished we could have stayed longer! Loved the spacious and airy interior space, and the outdoor space with seating, dining, fire and hammock was where we spent most of our time looking at the beautiful view of the mountains! Great dining options right there as well as in Canon City. Thank you Royal Gorge Cabins for a fabulous stay!

The tents were fabulous. Very clean and spacious. The fire pit outside was a great hit with the family as it got cold at night. The bathrooms and showers are only a 2 minute walk, and again very clean and spacious. Excellent experience.

Check-in is from 4 pm until 6pm and the office closes at that time. If you need anything then you just need to wait until the morning. Room was clean comfortable and nice but tent walls. Across the street there is a bar/dance studio that plays really loud music until midnight. Many of the guests then Stumbled across the street and yelled and talked very loudly for every one else to enjoy. If that is your idea of a good night then this is the hotel for you.
