Wir (4 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) haben einen wunderschönen Weihnachtsurlaub in Cannes bei Emma und Charles verbracht. Emma hat mit sehr viel Liebe unsere Ankunft vorbereitet mit Essen und Getränken, Obstkorb, Blumen und sogar einem schönen Weinachtsbaum. In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts, in der Küche ist an Gerätschaften alles vorhanden um ein opulentes Weihnachts- bzw Silvester- Menü zuzubereiten. Der Blick von der Wohnung auf Cannes, das Meer und die Insel Sainte-Marguerite ist grandios und der Garten ein kleines Paradis. Die Gastgeber waren immer für uns da und haben Ihre Unterstützung bei allen Fragen angeboten. Herzlichen Dank an Emma und Charles für die außerordentliche Gastfreundschaft.Gerne würden wir wiederkommen und die großartigen Urlaubserlebnisse noch einmal genießen.

All about the VIEW!

This view is absolutely breathtaking! From our morning coffee to our nightly after dinner drink, the porch was so comfortable and inviting. The interior was lovely and had everything we needed. It was the perfect setup for me and my husband with our two adult children! Emma and Charles were so sweet and welcoming! They went out of their way to greet us and show us around. They even sent us off so kindly (even though it was 4:00 am)! The location was nice away from the busy Cannes yet close enough to the adorable Antibes. Wonderful time for all of us!!

Traumurlaub in Cannes mit Hund

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.Emma und Charles waren vorzügliche Gastgeber, die auch bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle waren und immer helfen konnten. Die Einrichtung liesd keine Wünsche offen. Garten und Ausblick sind phänomenal. Unser Hund hatte im abgeschlossenen Garten viel Auslauf und fühlte sich auch wohl. Das Auto konnte auf dem gesicherten Grundstück problemlos abgestellt werden.Vielen Dank an Emma und Charles für den herzlichen Empfang und Aufenthalt.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Great views, convenient location, wonderful hosts

My husband and I had a relatively long stay at Emma and Charles place. They are wonderful hosts who take good care of the property, as well as the guests staying here, and answer all of our questions promptly, explain everything in details patiently. The apartment is close to the beach and center of town, with some small restaurants, markets, and boulangeries even closer by. As an added bonus, the apartment has a nice backyard facing the water, which is a rare find. We will definitely come back to stay.

Beautiful, Quiet Get-Away in Cannes

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, light-filled apartment on the ground floor. The spacious terrace became a favorite spot, offering lovely views over the grounds and out to the sea. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we took advantage of the nearby paths for daily walks to the main road, where we could catch the train to Nice, Antibes, or Eze, or head into central Cannes. The apartment was very comfortable for our week-and-a-half stay. Emma and Charles were welcoming and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we did need to sign an additional French contract with a detailed inventory, which initially surprised us, but we understood it as a reflection of the care they’ve put into their home. The apartment itself has an interesting blend of new and vintage touches, and we appreciated its location—tucked away in a peaceful and seemingly safe area of Cannes, yet close enough to access the more bustling parts of town with ease. We highly recommend staying and will remember our time spent there fondly.

Excellentes vacances

Nous (un groupe de quatre retraités) sommes restés trois semaines en juin 2024. La connexion WiFi fonctionne. La description de la propriété est correcte. La cuisine est entièrement fonctionnelle. Tous les appareils fonctionnent. La maison était bien fournie avec des serviettes et toutes sortes de commodités. L’emplacement est excellent. Le quartier est sûr. Le propriétaire a fait des efforts importants pour transformer nos vacances en une expérience merveilleuse. Nous espérons revenir. We (a group of four retired people) have stayed for three weeks in June 2024. The WiFi connection works. The property description is correct. The kitchen is fully functional. All appliances work. The house was well provided with towels and all kinds of conveniences. The location is excellent. The neighborhood is safe. The owner made significant efforts to transform our vacation into a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again.

Amazing sea view

This apartment was one of our most favorites of the many we've rented. Spacious, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked, with tons of room for our things. Gracious and thoughtful hosts provided many extras. Several grocery stores are located within walking distance. The location just outside of the center of Cannes was excellent, with easy access to the bus and train as well as for day trips. We especially enjoyed visiting Antibes, Eze, and St. Paul-de-Vence as well as Cannes, Nice, and Monaco. The best part was the lovely patio surrounded by fabulous gardens and overlooking the Med - we enjoyed relaxing there in the mornings and evenings, listening to the birds and watching the boat traffic. We REALLY did not want to leave and hope to return!

Vacation in Cannes at Charles‘ & Emmas apartment

Great Stay at the rented apartment of Charles & Emma. Both are wonderful hosts, very friendly and very helpful. The apartment is very clean, very well equipped, in great condition and is in a wonderful location. There are several grocery stores within walking distance. To the promenade at the Croisette you walk about 20-25 min. All in all it was a very great stay (also for our little dog) and we will certainly book the apartment of Charles & Emma again. As we arrived on a Sunday and most grocery stores were closed, Charles & Emma even bought us some groceries, so we didn‘t had to worry about buying butter, milk, etc on Monday morning. Very kind and attentive from both. Both speak very good English as my French is rather poor.

Bester Urlaub aller Zeiten :-)

Emma & Charles empfingen uns mit einem herzlichen Lachen, knusprigem Baguette, einem prall gefüllten Obstkorb , sowie mit verschiedenen (kalt)-Getränken. Das alles war schon mal ein toller start, und hat uns das Ankommen nach dieser langen Fahrt sehr leicht gemacht. Überall standen aus dem hauseigenen Garten frische Blumen für uns die in den leuchtendsten Farben das wintergetrübte Herz erfreuten. Vom ersten Moment sympathisch erklärten uns Emma & Charles sehr geduldig und mega lieb Ihre wirklich für uns keine Wünsche offen lassende Ferienwohnung. Auch in den drei darauf folgenden Wochen standen Emma & Charles uns bei jeder Frage sofort mit Rat & Tat zur Seite. Alles in allem hat es uns an nichts gefehlt, angefangen bei der sehr luxuriös eingerichteten Wohnung, mit sich in jedem Zimmer befindlichen Klimaanlagen, die uns an dem ein oder anderen doch noch kühlen Aprilabend wärmten. Abgesehen davon das alles strahlend sauber und gepflegt war, hatten wir die Möglichkeit über Emma & Charles gegen einen kleinen Obolus eine Reinigungskraft zu bekommen. Die junge sehr nette Dame kümmerte sich um alles und hat uns den sowieso sehr schönen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Auch die perfekt eingerichtete Küche lud förmlich zum mediterranen Kochen ein, und so konnten wir mit unseren Freunden, die wenige Schritte entfernten frisch gekauften Produkte z.B. vom Markt, der Kaufhalle oder Fleischer & Bäcker gemeinsam gut verarbeiten und genießen. Unvergesslich aber wird uns der wunderschöne 180 Grad Blick aufs funkelnde Meer in Erinnerung bleiben… Im Einklang mit der sehr geschmackvollen Riesenterrasse und dem atemberaubend schön angelegten Garten mit modernen Möbeln, Auflagen, Kissen & vielem mehr. (Grill, gut geheizter Massage Düsen betriebener Jacuzzi). Die La Croisette ist in gut 15 min gemütlichem Spaziergang zu erreichen. Über einen kleinen Privat nutzbaren Weg ist man trotzdem in 3 min am Meer… wunderschön zum morgendlichen Laufen mit Hund, oder einem Abend Spaziergang. Auch Restaurants und Bars waren in der Umgebung. Die Unterkunft an sich befindet sich in einer durch zwei Tore abgesicherten Privatstraße, was wir persönlich als sehr angenehm empfanden. Auch unser Labrador Frieda wurde mit Freude empfangen und aufgenommen. Es war kein Problem das sie im gesamten Garten / Grundstück frei bewegen konnte. Wir Danken Emma & Charles von Herzen für diesen perfekten Urlaub, und freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen. Inge und Helmut

Logement au calme avec une magnifique vue mer près de la Croisette

Location très agréable et proche des commerces et de la plage (basse Californie). Double portails pour accéder au logement et stationner un véhicule en sécurité. Accueil charmant des propriétaires. Vue mer magnifique et grand jardin arboré et fleuri avec jaccuzi gonflable pour les enfants. Barbecue et grand table sous pergola avec transats. Tout le confort comme à la maison pour passer un excellent séjour en famille. Je recommande l’emplacement, la qualité du logement, l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, la vue mer dégagée, un jardin magnifiquement entretenu, et la proximité des commerces et de la plage.

Wunderschöne Wohnung an aussergewöhnlicher Lage, wunderbare Gastgeber

Ich möchte meine Bewertung damit beginnen, unseren Gastgebern zu danken. Wir wurden mit vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten empfangen und in ihrem Zuhause willkommen geheissen. Merci pour tout, Emma et Charles. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, et nous retournerons certainement. Die Wohnung lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles da, vom Grill inkl. Gas, über eine komplett ausgestattete Küche und eine Terrasse mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem privaten Grundstück und ist sehr gut gelegen. Man ist schnell mitten im Zentrum von Cannes und kann trotzdem die Ruhe und die Aussicht geniessen. Wir können diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall nur weiterempfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Très bon séjour, des hôtes très attentifs, accueillants. Appartement extrêmement propre, avec tout le confort. Vue exceptionnelle. Je recommande cette appartement sans hésitation.
