A real taste of old Antibes in this traditional house. The location is ideal, close to the marché provençal, and with a view of the sea from the terrace, but is quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a break in one of our favourite French towns.

Beautiful location, but tired apartment

Amazing location close to everthing with exceptional views from the balcony. Cosy old-style apartment. However, it is in dire need for an interior upgrade. Tiles ln floors and walls broken, the two bathrooms in bad quality. Water pressure ln 1st floor bathroom insufficient to be able to shower. Beds old and not suitable for more than one person. Kitchen and living room very dark. Communication with Celia and Sarah was very good, but the condition of the apartment was a disappointment.

Highly recommend

The location was ideal, near the market, restaurants and shops, proximity to the water. The house was lovely and the terrace view was beautiful. Celia and Sarah were very responsive and replied with suggestions and guidance about what to see and transportation to reach the sights. We had a fantastic time in old town Antibes.

House that needs urgent renovations

We are sorry about hat house we lent for a week as the house is wonderfully located in the city center. The main problem with this house is that the property is totally neglected and besides of better cleaning service urgently needs renovations work inside. The both bathrooms are totally outdated and full of black mold on the walls. The toilet on the 1st floor is stinky and the other toilet is not able to flush correctly. Plaster is falling from the ceiling in the kitchen and from the walls in both bedrooms. We found dirty pieces of dish and the communication with tthe landlord was totally terrible. We did not recommend this property to be rented to anyone before it is renovated.

Great place and amazing location!!

We loved our stay! Antibes has stolen our hearts! The house was great and the owner was quick to answer questions. I would rent again. The only thing that could have made the stay better was some decluttering. Many usable storage spaces are filled with “stuff” that could be organized and removed and there is an excess of furniture and decor that made it hard to move around. We were a family of 4. But we still enjoyed it very much and would rent again. So don’t let this scare you!!

Intriguing old house in the very heart of old Antibes

The location was perfect, close to market, shops and museums. It's four flights from kitchen to roof terrace so the large basket provided was very useful!

Timeless charming cottage in an excellent location

Very nice timeless character property excellent location. Celia responded to all your queries and questions in minutes and was always very supportive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property.

Lage perfekt Aussicht wunderbar tolles Haus

Alles war wunderbar trotz zentraler Lage war es nie laut. Gleich ums Eck der Markt der Strand 10 Minuten perfekte Lage! Sauberkeit in der Küche war nicht so gut. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Wunderschöne Lage im Altertümlichen Häuschen das alles Bietet

Die perfekte Lage für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub direkt in der Innenstadt aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Die Terrasse ist perfekt zum erholen und die beiden Strände sind innerhalb fünf 2-5 gehe Minuten zu erreichen. Die Innenausstattung könnte leicht modernisiert werden erfüllt aber trotz des hohen alters seinen dienst. Alles in allem aber preisleistungsmäßig top!

Old Antibes character house

Delightful little town house in a stunning location. Celia the host couldn’t have been more helpful. There’s an intoxicating charm about Old Antibes and this property is at the heart of it. It’s quirky, rustic, old and full of character.

Spot parfait... mais tout le processus manque un peu d'amour

Super quartier, proche de tout à Antibes, vue sur la mer de la terrasse en haut. Maison étroite sur 4 étages donc les escaliers servent beaucoup. Les consignes pour se rendre à la maison n'étaient pas bonnes (j'ai suggéré de les mettre à jour pour les prochaines fois) et les communications avec la gestionnaire étaient plutôt limitées. Quelques équipements ne fonctionnent pas dans la maison (prises de courant sur la terrasse, chauffe serviette et douchette dans la salle de bain du 2e, …), aucune tablette ni rangement dans la salle de bain au 2e près de la chambre qui a le grand lit (bizarrement la chambre avec le plus grand lit au 2e contient aussi un lit d’enfant, alors que l’autre chambre au 3e a une salle de bain mieux équipée – avec tablettes - et pas de 2e lit). Tous les rangements et tablettes de la maison sont pleins et ne peuvent pas être utilisés pour déposer nos choses (il y a beaucoup trop de décorations et d’autres articles superflus partout dans la maison, nous devions déposer nos achats dans les marches de l’escalier), même le lit de la mezzanine était plein. Quelques endroits dans la maison sont pratiquement inaccessibles si plus grand que 1,80 m. Des travaux de rénovation chez les voisins ont eu lieu toute la semaine de notre séjour à partir de 7h30 le matin, incluant fin de semaine et jour férié (pas la faute du propriétaire mais bon... tout est en pierre dans le quartier donc tous les travaux sont bruyants).

Enchanting

It is difficult to find the words to do justice to our experience in Celia’s home in old Antibes. We left only this morning so I can blame jet lag. The home is every bit as authentic, refined, and exquisite as described and pictured. When you step over the threshold you step into another world, another time. Understated elegance. I covet the mirrors! Every last one. When you step outside and turn right, you find the best bread maker in Antibes within a two minute walk. Turn left and you have the Mediterranean to your right, the Picasso museum and the cathedral straight ahead, and to the left, the heart of Antibes, the market. The steep steps do take some getting used to, but the reward! No, not the toned legs. The rooftop view! Enjoying a glass of rosé on the pretty terrasse with a clear view of the sea, with the golden glow of the setting sun warming the stone walls, seagulls swirling overhead - a peak experience.

We’ll be back

Celia’s property is full of character and perfectly situated in the Old Town. We met Celia at check-in and she explained that the house has been their holiday home since the 1970’s. The house is compact but comfortable and very well equipped. Close to the market, cafes and shops. Try Nomad’s for great coffee. There’s a sandy beach down near the marina (5 mins walk). We would definitely love to come back

Wonderful holiday in old Antibes

We have spent an incredible week in Celia's charming house. Good comunication from the start, and perfekt check in. Excellent location, in a quiet liltle street, lovely decor, comfy beds, and fantastic roof terrace! Everything was great. We definitely come back.
