Hello Luis,Thank you for taking the time to write us a review today.The restaurant is actually a separate entity entirely to our hotel, so we do not have any say in their menu or prices. We hope you still enjoyed the food even if you feel it was a little too expensive.In regards to the bathroom towels, this is something that can be requested at the front desk. To save our housekeepers time and stress during the busy summer season, they do not service the rooms every day. However, if guests do request cleaning services during their stay then we can of course provide this.We hope you enjoyed your stay with us, despite the problems aforementioned, and we hope to see you again some day.

We greatly appreciate this whether they are positive or negative!Unfortunately, the construction going on around us is not under our control and our wifi connection does not run smoothly 100% of the time. In regards to the other issues you had with your stay, we are most certainly at fault there and will look to find possible solutions to all the points you have raised.No business is perfect and we are always striving to improve the way we function. Hi Wendy. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our fireplace, the beds were comfortable, and that you enjoyed soaking in our bathtub. However, we are sorry that your stay did not meet all your expectations. The Northwinds' goal is to ensure that our valued guests have the best stay in our hotel, and unfortunately, we missed the opportunity this time. Your feedback is very valuable, so we have passed along your comments to our maintenance team who will fix the screen door lock right away. We will also follow up with our housekeeping team to ensure that the carpets are being vacuumed thoroughly and that linen is checked for hairs. Our back gate is rarely used by guests, but we are sorry that you experienced difficulties securing the lock. We encourage our incredibly knowledgeable front desk staff to try a variety of dining and activities in town, and I’m sure they would have been more than happy to recommend one of the many wonderful restaurants they are familiar with.
