This side of the island is chill and that is exactly what we were hoping for our getaway.The room itself is modern, clean and well designed. The water pressure is divine. Having a private pool and beach was more than we expected.The site manager was super helpful. His partner made us dinner two of the nights. So nice to see the sun set on our private patio overlooking the ocean as we ate fresh fish prepared by Gladys.This place is truly beautiful. We were able to walk down the beach to get dinner when we wanted to go out. There were a few places where we had to walk in the water but it was easy.Oh I almost forgot, a highlight of the trip was using the kayaks to paddle north to an excellent snorkeling spot.This vacation spot is a gem. Communication was detailed and everything about the trip was easy and loved.

This place was absolutely amazing! Having our own private heated pool and private beach truly doesn’t get better than this. It felt like a luxury resort experience but with complete privacy and comfort.The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. Poli, the caretaker, keeps both the grounds and the beach immaculate and is always available if you need anything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would absolutely recommend this rental and we will definitely be back in the future!

We have been to Isla Mujeres three times and this by far is the best property we have stayed on. Not only is the villa exactly as described by the caretakers, Poli and Gladys are kind, friendly and helpful. Sac Bajo is quiet and extremely safe. The property has a well cared for beach and pool that kept us relaxed and rested during our stay. We will be back!

This place was exceptional! Pool, private beach and Katy, Poly Gladys were on site and fantastic in helping us in anyway we needed. Katy has made this place a piece of heaven on earth! FANTASTIC PROPERTY! This place is absolutely as good as promised. The sunrises on the private beach are the exact same view you get from Playa Norte. The property is immaculately kept by an onsite local that is extremely helpful with anything and everything. This property is really amazing and a really great value. The property is a short golfcart ride from everything and its located on the westside of the island in a very nice neighborhood so we always felt safe. If you want a private getaway in Mexico this is your place!

Great place, away from more busy areas on the island. Quiet with your own beach and pool, Rented a golf cart for touring the island and going to dinner each night. Information provided by Katy makes it easy to get to and from Cancun airport to the villa.

There is a reason why this is rated 10/10! Beautiful property, easy check-in, accommodating host, very private stay. The pool is great, the beach is beautiful, the guest house was clean, smart tv, wi-fi available. We were glad we reserved a golf cart through the host, and it was there upon our arrival. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The only thing we regret is not booking a longer stay.

A tiny slice of paradise

Our trip to the Villa at Quinta Ixchel was everything we hoped for. Having Katy as an English speaking host/resource made a HUGE difference and was such a bonus to this entire experience. The villa was super clean, pool and beach were amazing and as a major bonus - the bed was SO comfortable!! A wonderful trip all around!

We’ve stayed on the island seven times and this place gave us a lot of privacy when we wanted it. Poli showed us around and was very tentative. Perfect 30th anniversary and we would love to go back.

Amazing Property

My wife and I just stayed for our 20th wedding anniversary and all we can say is wow. An absolute gem. Your own private beach and pool on a beautiful piece of property on Isla Mujeres. What more could you ask for. Everything about it is perfect. Highly recommend.

Could not have been better!

Had a great time. Excellent location with perfect amenities. Could not have put together a better trip! 10/10 recommend! You will have to check out the owner's new properties on site for bigger groups! I got to see the new units on site and you will not be disappointed.

Great Experience

From arrival to departure the welcoming and attention to detail was fantastic. The property is pretty amazing and you cannot get better than your own private beach! Dave (the owner) is very nice and respectful of your privacy. The guard onsite keeps the grounds very nice and its great to have someone close the gate for the night. Katy (property manager) was great at communication and staying on top of needs we may have. Thank you both!

Exceeded Expectations!

Quinta Ixchel was everything we hoped it would be and more! For our first time on the island we debated staying in Playa Norte/Centro vs mid-island, and we were so glad we chose this place. We LOVED having a quiet retreat to come home to after exploring the island each day! The unit was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. But the private pool, palapa and beach access really exceeded our expectations! Not just a “dipping” pool, this is the real deal. We loved watching the beautiful sunsets from the palapa. Katy, her dad Dave and the caretaker Poli were all so incredibly helpful in arranging for our golf cart, couples massage (amazing!) and offering recommendations. They all went above and beyond. Dave is the coolest! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience, we hope to back soon!

I have traveled extensively around the world, but my recent stay at this private villa truly set a new standard for hospitality. From the moment I arrived, Poli and his wife went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness were unparalleled, making me feel more like a cherished guest than just another traveler. Poli provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, each one better than the last, and even organized memorable fishing trips that added a unique adventure to my vacation. One of the highlights was when Poli's wife prepared the fish we caught, turning our catch into a delicious meal that I will never forget. The villa itself was immaculate, with a fresh atmosphere and an air conditioning system that kept the space cool and comfortable. The pool was pristine & inviting, while the beach area felt like a mini paradise, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. I cannot recommend this place enough! For anyone considering a stay, I highly suggest renting a golf cart for easy transportation around the area. It truly enhances the experience and allows for more exploration. Overall, this villa is a hidden gem, and the level of hospitality provided by Katy, Poli and his wife is something I will carry with me on all my future travels. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience!

Everything about our stay thanks to our host. Katy was amazing. The beautiful, private, elegant master bedroom suite with private pool and beach could not have been more perfect. Enjoying the sunset, dinner overlooking the ocean in our private cabana and tooling around the island in our golf cart was a blast. we’d come back in a heartbeat. In fact we’re thinking about our next stay. it’s a 10 out of 10. And I’ve never given a rating like that before, and we have literally been all over the world.

AMAZING!!!

If possible, we would give this 10 stars!!! This place is even better in person!! Absolutely worth every penny for location, beauty, privacy and was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years. Katy was absolutely wonderful to work with and so informative from the time of booking to the end of our stay. Poli and Gladys- the caretakers of the property were absolute gems!! You can tell they love and care for this place with their whole hearts and were the warmest, most lovely people. 1000% will be back again.

Absolutely Divine!!

Pictures are amazing but in real life, it was even better!! Will not stay anywhere else in the island moving forward. Gorgeous pool, exclusive beach access, and a comfy bed. What more could one ask for? Poli had our golf cart waiting for us when we arrived and it has easy access to many wonderful restaurants. Love that it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the north end, yet a quick golf cart ride should we decide to shop, etc.

An amazing retreat

Katy and David provided an excellent property and were excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Isla Mujeres. The palapa was a wonderful spot to enjoy the scene out of the sun. The pool was pleasant and welcoming. The beach was quiet and lovely. And Poli the caretaker is a gem. We would definitely consider returning to this little spot.
