I reserved the house for six weeks.Outdoors:The pool at the house, community pool and park were plus.The walls surrounding pool are streaked black with mold and guano & patio, requiring power wash. The lounge beds great, but covers need cleaning and repair. The turfed yard helped maintain pool and house access clean. We used the bbq a few timesLiving/dining rooms:The upholstery of living room needs good cleaning. A couple of side & coffee table would be nice. Dining room was ample & when we were many we ate in shifts.Bed/Bathrooms:Bedrooms were ample, beds comfortable. Some attention needed to blinds, curtains drapes & linens, they have seen better days. The closets need maintenance as doors do not slide. Bathrooms; poor water drainage for both sink and shower; better lighting is needed. Shampoo and gel dispensers empty. Kitchen:In the kitchen, which for me was the main part of the house, unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. However it was functional enough to cook and prepared at least 78 meals during my stay. A few examples that let me down; -The range hood vent and lighting was unserviceable. -The fridge was too small for a house that can host 10-12 people-Cutlery, not enough forks and condition of some most undesirable. -The pots were all on the large size great when many, need small and medium pos too.-The water dispenser is damaged.-No wine glasses I bought 4R/4WI will conclude, that despite the few disappointments, I truly enjoyed my stay.

Situation géographique un peu loin de tout, difficile de se rendre à pieds sauf dépanneur. Propreté intérieur ( mur et cuisine) a désiré. literies usées et ameublement de cuisine et salon inapproprié pour 12 personnes.La photo de la terrasse devant le salon ne correspondent pas. Il n’y en a pas!! Directement sur la terre et gazon.L’hôte répond rapidement, la communication facile avec gentillesse.Personnel d’entretien aussi.Je considère un peu dispendieux malgré que la maison est spacieuse rapport qualité/prix. 3.5* sur 5

A great stay

We were travelling with our adult sons and their adult friend. This property gave an impressive amount of privacy to each guests. Everyone having their own bathroom was a nice feature. The condo is quite large. There is a lot of stairs up to the top two levels so keep that in mind. We rented a car but would go out to the front gate in the evenings to request a taxi into town. They usually arrived within a few minutes. Oxxo (variety store) right next to the main gate. They do not sell alcohol or have an ATM. Great communication from our host. We all agreed that it was a nice stay and would return. We felt very safe.

Family Retreat

The house had plenty of room for all of us! Great location and neighborhood. Can tell they just did some cosmetic upgrades within the house that were nice. Had a few hiccups with getting amenities to work (AC). Would have appreciated a welcome packet that told us about the community, and what we could or couldn't do. Instructions on how appliances and amenities within the house worked. Overall really enjoyed the location and time spent with the family.

The property has great potential, but needs work, needs a deep clean and needs maintenance. There was visible mold on the living room ceiling. 2 of the tvs did not work, internet was slow, and stove did not initially work. I called the host & maintenance did come out and got two burners to work. Water was continuously dripping from the exhaust on to stove . Hot water did not work most of the time.. it got luke warm at best. Pool was beautiful, and was definitely the highlight. I definitely had higher hopes for this property.

There was mold on the walls and bathroom floors, there was a leak in the kitchen above the stove making it hard to cook. The stove was not good, it took us a long time to cook some eggs because the flame was not strong enough to heat the pan.

Al abrir la puerta principal el olor de humedad fue desagradable y nauseabundo. Había exceso de polvo en las encimeras, armarios, el piso estaba tan percudido y sucio que parecía no haber sido limpiado por meses. Aunque la distribución de las habitaciones y baños es perfecta el mantenimiento de la casa, las areas verdes, la piscina es 0. Cuando abrimos las puertas de los cuartos el olor a humedad y polvo era horrible, los aires hacían un ruido raro y cuando miramos, el filtro de los aires estaba tapado de polvo (tengo fotos), las sabanas olían a polvo y estaban manchadas al igual que las almohadas, los inodoros de las plantas bajas estaban tapados y las duchas también, demás está decir el olor de causaba eso. La piscina solo se pudo utilizar el segundo día porque la habían dejado encendida (los filtros) los demás días (6 días) estuvo apagada (los filtros), por lo que había polvo, hojas y demás cosas que traía el viento. S leo dijimos a la encargada y nada hizo. Los techos tienen moho y hongos. Le solicitamos que por favor enviara a alguien para que el día 25 prendiera la piscina ya que queríamos pasar el día en la piscina y eso no pasó. Ella nos prometió que alguien iba a limpiar la casa y la piscina y eso tampoco pasó. No pretendía estar en una residencia de lujo pues no es lo que alquilé, pero al menos una casa con la limpieza mínima era requerido lo cual no pasó. E triste porque la residencia no necesita reparaciones mayores, solo es mantenimiento habitual y limpieza.

Beautiful home

Love the house. The property is amazing. The layout of the home was great! The ONLY issues were the hot water- it doesn’t last long AND there was a leak coming from the range hood so we just kept a pot on the stove to catch the water. The community pool was amazing. We would 100% stay here again!

Superbe de quartier, mais un peu loin pour circuler à pieds.

Un coin un peu isolé. il faut prendre un taxi pour le moindre déplacement. Quartier superbe et sécuritaire. Gaz pour la cuisinière et eau chaude pas très efficaces; ça manquait un peu de puissance. Toutefois, la maison est confortable et la piscine du quartier à deux pas. Puerto Morelos est une ville intéressante et sa plage de belle qualité.

Great Location

This property is in a great location. Close to our favorite town of Puerto Morelos. The house was large and had enough beds for our whole group. However, when we booked the house it had said there was a washer/dryer. The week before we left, we checked the listing again just to make sure. We all packed light thinking we could wash clothes and towels for our 10 day vacation. We got there, no washer/dryer. The laundry room door was locked. When asked they said we could go to a laundromat or pay and have a service come pick up our laundry. They didn’t even provide clean towels half way through the stay. I mentioned it would have been nice to know this information prior to coming and they showed me a screenshot of the listing that they clearly had changed within the week of our arrival. Some of the pillow cases had what appeared to be bloodstains on them which we had to switch out as well. There is no “welcome book” so we were not sure what to do with the overflowing garbage. We had to ask for the Wifi password as well. There is not a couch or area for a family to gather and relax after coming back from the beach. The space of the house was great and we had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group.

Nice birthday retreat

Overall, we had a good time. It is obvious that this is a rental is not a primary residence. We had a little bit of cleaning and organizing to get settled. There is a a step between the second and first floor that seems to have had part of the concrete from the stair removed/ broken off. It took some getting used to before we didn’t feel like we were going to trip/ fall. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, which was perfect. We did find that the sub pump would go off anytime the water was one, toilet flushed, shower was on.. so if you have noise sensitivities, I recommend sleeping on the other side of the house:) We cooked all our main meals at the home, and never was able to figure out the oven. Seems to cook from the top down, never was able to cook anything all the way through. The outdoor area was a little dirty with debris… could be the time of year, but we also noticed the nighttime pool lights didn’t work. Not a deal breaker, but we definitely had hoped to enjoy night time swimming. The host was attentive and very helpful with any questions you might have. You are about a 10 minute drive from Puerto Morelos.. so if you don’t have a vehicle, know you’ll have to take a cab to get to town or any store. Overall, I think everyone had a nice time. Very spacious house, tv’s and AC units in all rooms. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Thanks for the space!:)

Spacious home in gated community

House was very large and private. The pool and yard are very nice for lounging. Every room has an ac unit making it adjustable for each couple or person staying there. All the security tenets at the gate were very friendly and professional.

Didn't want to leave

The property mgr Reynal was very helpful in everything. The house is just like the pictures. We decided not to rent a car, but getting a taxi was no problem. We have suggested that a note be placed somewhere about water exchange and trash pickup ...we missed the water exchange day..no biggie just went and got some...trash was not picked up the entire time we was there ... had to bring container inside for something got into it one night...none of these things messed with our vacation.

Perfect house

Beautiful house and grounds. Perfect location, quite and friendly neighborhood. Was Nice to have a private pool and community swimming pool as well. We absolutely enjoyed the house , perfect for a large group. (Surprised My bed was pretty comfortable ❤) the host always was attentive without being intrusive.

Beautiful & friendly

Friends and I had a great time and visit in Mexico. We wanted a fun yet relaxing vacation and the house accommodated our needs. The neighborhood was quiet, people friendly and the pool area was beautiful with plenty of space to layout and relax. There were a few hiccups in the beginning from the flight arriving early and no hot water; but Reyna was very attentive and communication was great. We were able to check in way ahead of schedule with no issues and the hot water was fixed within a day. I would definitely stay again.

Tropical Surprise

Rented property for a surprise birthday party for my wife. Checked in a day before the other friends arrived. Property looked like the exact way it did on the app. Great communication with the owner and manager of the property. Check in was easy and the manager even drove us to the nearest store. We rented a car to drive around while staying there, security guards at front gate were extremely nice. The only problem we encountered were small ants were everywhere so you had to be quick to clean up or they would be all over everything, especially in the kitchen. Also, the hot water would run out in the showers, so you had to be ready to get in as soon as you turn it on. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely rent this place again and are planning on doing so
