It was a terrible night and could not sleep well as we had to evacuate two times around 4 am and 4:30 am for the false fire alarms. Staffs should explain why it happened and apologise about false alarms before we ask about it.

The room was really small and they had a huge glass table beside the bed which was way too big for the room. A bit hard to get into bed. Also, something to consider for heritage type accommodation, they did not have a lift where we were and I was in a moon boot. Lesson learnt on my part. Not sure why we had to pay for parking for a spot out the front which the general public could use anyway.

Staff ignored me standing at the front glass doors for 15 minutes on arrival despite pressing the doorbell, intercom repeatedly. Only entered because other guests exited the building. No apology once inside despite seeing me waiting.

Poor EV charger option
I'd recommend getting an EV charger supplier that doesn't require payment on top of the hotel bill. A very slow charger is not worth it and having a fast charger would make you more of a destination and generate more business over time.

Old world charm, friendly & efficient staff. Secure car park much appreciated. Great location. Our room, the deluxe loft was great if you don't mind stairs. All in all, an enjoyable couple of days.

I enjoyed my stay, I upgraded to a courtyard room and loved it. Mini bar and movie purchases way too expensive. The staff were great. On site Restaurant not available so ate in Bistro..pub like atmosphere, bit noisy but food was great.

Rooms were big and nice and clean, great bathrooms. Liked the high ceilings. Overall hotel was missing a warm and inviting environment. Dining facilities were average.

I was disappointed initially and had to change rooms due to mouldy curtains, issues with the toilet and noise. They upgraded me for free and the room I was moved to was much better. Is a great location but personally wouldn’t stay there again.
