"We originally had been allocated a disabled access room, but upon request, we were then moved to a beautiful suite for the remaining two nights of our three night stay as there was no other option for all three nights. The suite was lovely - everything was immaculate. Special mention to Alex and Kylie for sorting out the room swap. "Good place to stay if you need a kitchen and room to move. Apartments have a full-size kitchen with hot plates, oven, fridge etc. There’s plenty of space for luggage, toys, travel cots etc. There’s heating/cooling in every room (split system), which works out well for Canberra summers and winters. Only downside is that the apartment is clearly uninsulated and becomes unbearably hot if you’re on the top floor. Of course, you can always turn the A/C on, but it just feels so wasteful!"

"Always a great stay at The Statesman. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Shame restaurant and bar wasn’t open but closed for holidays. Easy parking and good location. Will stay again. "

"OMG this place is so amazing. Five star all the way. We stayed in Lemur room 2 and they hung out mostly on our side. Food was out of this world. Staff are so accommodating and friendly. The zoo is amazing and the tour in the morning was so good. The young man was so great and I cannot explain how beautiful this was. I would love to go back again. xxxx"

"Staff were friendly when checking in and out. Breakfast was a nice buffet with plenty of selections. Pool was indoors, nice and clean. Room was modern, clean and quiet."

"I had a great experience, short notice trip was affordable and clean and actually much nicer tban the advertising pictures so was a great suprise! They were super accomadating providing a cot on short notice as well as i had forgotten mine. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊 "
