My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic Victorian inn, which has been upgraded to include every modern convenience while maintaining its charm. Complimentary snacks, soft drinks, coffee & tea were available at all times. And the freshly made gourmet breakfast was amazing!

The room, breakfast and decor were amazing. It was nice to have the ice, books, games and movies available. The breakfasts were extraordinary! The shower head might need to be changed out, it felt like needles because it came out unevenly. However, the jacuzzi was very relaxing. The ceiling fan kept the room comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace. It would have been nice if they had replaced the cookies and muffins for our second night, but they were nice when we arrived. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sutherland House. The 4 course breakfast was amazing. The house was gorgeous and very well maintained. I will definitely be booking here again.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful and spacious. The owners were fabulous. It was easy to check in and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was 5 star!! Far and away the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I’d definitely recommend it and hope to get this way again!

Spectacular!
This place is spectacular! Clean and spacious rooms and bed was most comfortable mattress we have 3ver slept on. Breakfast was creative and out of this world. Stay here. You'll love it!

A delightful two day visit at an elegant and romantic restored Victorian mansion. The utilities were modern and convenient but the decor and furnishings provided the historical elegance of the Victorian Golden Age. I would definitely book again during any future visit to Canandaigua!

Very cool old house, nicely restored. Close to CMAC arena for concerts. Excellent breakfast. The only suggestion would be to serve breakfast a bit earlier than 9 am.

Great experience
We had a nice stay in this beautiful home. The bed and accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and overall it was a wonderful experience we would do again when in this area.

I couldn’t recommend coming here enough. We had an amazing stay everything was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast the next day was phenomenal and the portions are more than enough.

Lovely!
A lovely home with beautiful grounds, lovingly maintained and spotless. Decoration definitely has that Victorian feel. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home with many amenities. Breakfast was exceptional!

Fantastic anniversary
This is our first time at a bed-and-breakfast and by far exceeded our expectations. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made everything perfect. The three course breakfast is to die for!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Sutherland House. We were given a tour of the house so we would know all the amenities offered and provided help with our dinner reservations. The room was very comfortable with those extra details that made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a wonderful experience and introduced us to delicious interpretations of traditional fare. A wonderful stay and we will recommend to our friends.

The price was a little high. Breakfast was excellent. Owners were very helpful. Many amenities available. Whirlpool tub was very relaxing. CMAC close by.

The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and very nicely presented. Faye and Bob were friendly and comfortable to be with. Our room was lovely. Will definitely stay there again.

My First B&B
This was my first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast, I think this will be all I do traveling if possible, The Sutherland House was amazing , beautiful inside and out, The Innkeepers Bob and Faye were more than nice, they helped us out with restaurants and made our stay a very comfortable one, . The Breakfasts were amazing!

Excellent hosts, with an exceptional breakfast. The house overall is very picturesque and well decorated. The Jacuzzi was one of the best we've ever used.
