"Every interaction with the staff, regardless of the role, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and the facility had great outdoor seating options next to the stream and waterfall. One area that does need some attention is the kitchen. Breakfast was disappointing and the quality of the our dinner - lemon garlic pasta - was below par. That said, we would certainly stay here again."

"Clean. Okay price. Decent breakfast. There were some shady people staying on our floor. The next morning while we were having breakfast and packing to leave multiple police (3-4 officers) showed up and eventually took one man out in cuffs. So we didn't feel the safest."

"The stairs up to our room seemed like they could use a little reinforcing/updating. However, the stairway was well lighted and easily navigable. We did find a previously opened bottle of water in our refrigerator, likely from a prior guest. "It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch.."

"Very cozy cabin, nicely decorated. There were many extras provided by the hosts such as tea and spices and soaps. We took advantage of the firepit out front. No cell signal but wifi and roku provided. We had a lovely visit. Confirm that linens and towels are provided. We did not see that on the listing but did receive an email from the hosts that we needed to bring our own linens. Maybe it was because it was off season."

"I could go on and on about how great this property is and how wonderful Donna is, but I think everyone else has already said that. This beautiful property was built in the 1800s and has history with her family. The house has a story and honestly, made it extra special. It was also very nice to come get a hot bath in a whirlpool jetted tub after running 34 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re going to Abingdon.
