Two weeks in paradise

This was the ultimate vacation we have ever experienced by far! The Carriage house was absolutely perfect for 2 couples to comfortably spend time gazing at the beautiful Discovery Passage watching the seals, sea lions, cruise ships, seaplanes taking off and landing and magnificent eagles do their thing right in front of us. The house is located very close to so many wonderful sights that the Island has to offer including water adventures (recommend Discovery West Adventures), waterfalls, wildlife, beaches, shopping and so much more!!!Les and Cheryl were the best host and hostess we have ever encountered! They are so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay exceptional! We will make every effort to return! Thank you, Les & Cheryl!

Oceanside gorgeous

Enjoyed catching up with friends oceanside in a cozy cottage witch included many amenities that encouraged comfort, relaxation and curiosity. From views of sea life to marine traffic, and fire side chats with shore lapping at beach our experience was more than expected. Wonderful, experienced hosts Cheryl and Les are on site and available if needed, very accommodating and lovely. We hope to make this destination an annual friends reunion.

Wonderful and peaceful... With fabulous amenities.

Will definitely book again. The hot tub is fantastic. Kitchen and baths are extremely well appointed.beds are top notch. The hosts are very hospitable. Not a party place but a wonderful retreat.

Amazing views

Extremely relaxing stay and property was short drive to downtown campbell river for wildlife trips. Close to Elk Falls and ferry to Quandra Island. Property was immaculate. Extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful ocean views from decking, living area and bedrooms.Also had a private beach. And on our last morning we had a pod of orcas swim past.... Magical

Nearly perfect

Overall, we loved the place. View was wonderful. Location good and secluded. Nice covered patio. Widescreen tv with Netflix and set up nicely to hook up IPhone subscription. Beds comfortable and showers roomy. Area quiet. Perfectly clean except whirlpool spa needed some cleaning although useable. Minor issue with ants in kitchen. But these could be easily remedieded.

Beautiful, stylish, modern and very comfortable

This is probably the most beautiful vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. Stylish, modern and incredibly comfortable. Bedrooms and en-suite baths are equally luxurious for both couples so no arguing about who gets the better room. High end kitchen appliances and the table was set for us by the host, with a bottle of wine to welcome us. Private deck overlooking the channel and Quadra Island where we are all our meals and enjoyed drinks at sunset. No onerous rules or check out procedures. We’ll be back for sure.

Lovely stay

The carriage house was amazing! Beautiful property and secluded. The best part was the deck - perfect view for watching nature and the cruise ships go by. My teenage daughters were also very happy to find previous reviews were accurate about there being a king size bed in the second bedroom.

Amazing!

Don't hesitate to stay here, it's perfect. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, the owner is lovely and we very helpful. The setting is stunning overlooking the water where resident seals swim close to shore. The kayaks were a hit with all the family. We spotted Orcas heading our way one evening so we jumped in the kayaks to go out and get a closer look. It was magical!

Very nice 2 bedroom home (it has pull out couch as well) on the Straight of Georgia. Upgraded appliances, cabinets, bathrooms & bedrooms. Very elegant but cozy. Loved it!

Spectacular Location with astonishing amenities on Discovery Passage

The house has the perfect location, breath taking views, quiet tucked away setting and was set up with every possible detail to enjoy a luxury vacation in Campbell River. This was our 5th trip to Campbell River and our most memorable. We will be back to this property to enjoy the best of Campbell River BC

A Gem on Vancouver Island

What a beautiful property! Excellent layout, wonderfully decorated, full of amenities needed for any family of travellers. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and outdoor patio, the lovely hot tub, private yet with a view. The resident seal kept us entertained and the kids loved finding shells on the beach. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

A little out of the way but if you're looking for solitude this is a good choice. We loved the wine on the table and the lovely place setting! It's a little smaller than I expected but it's a lovely place the two master suites are great. Most everything is pretty high end, and the view is to live for! We enjoyed the beach and had a nice fire. Having Netflix was great for the rainy windy days we had and enjoyed the fireplace. Hot tub was lovely but a little too cool. The robes were great though to snuggle into after the hot tub. The only real deterrent was the price which I think is too high for the area and all the signs in the place telling you what you can't do. Had a fight with the sleep number bed lol but if you're used to them it's not a problem I guess. Also had trouble getting the TV in the bedroom to work. Overall though it's a great get-away but don't take anyone with mobility issues unless they're fine with not going to the beach because there's big rock steps that you couldn't get down or up with any mobility issues, but you can easily access the fire pit which is on level ground.

Luxury in the Heart of Nature

We were completely wowed with the luxurious accommodation on this gorgeous property right on the beach! Our hosts thought of every little detail from the beach towel on our son’s bed, to the table set for the three of us, to the complimentary bottle of wine, to the motion controlled lights in the bathrooms, to the marshmallows and prongs for roasting them available on our private beach with a covered fire pit ready for use! There were Board games in the ottomans in the living room, a cozy gas fireplace, a stunning covered sun deck with grill, table and chairs for dining and also a love seat and stand alone chairs complete with removable cushions for our full comfort! We definitely enjoyed watching the natural wildlife up close with the binoculars. Those seals are so adorable! The two soaker tubs and the outdoor hot tub added to the most luxurious accommodations that is The Orcas Watch, that we so fully enjoyed! The design of the home with the windows provide spectacular views from every single room in the home. We would love to stay here again!!! Thank you for a most relaxing holiday!
