This house and its location are truly something special. Every window framed a beautiful view. Even the high bathroom window in the master ensuite, where I found myself pausing to watch the different kinds of birds resting on the wire outside.It felt like the whole world was far, far away, giving us a deep sense of peace and seclusion, and yet West Yellowstone was only a short 30-minute drive when we needed it. The best memories for me are of the early mornings, sipping coffee in front of the fireplace while the first light touched the mountains.The home was comfortable and well-equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both beauty and tranquility.

Excellent property!

This house was a great choice for our fly fishing trip. The location and views are amazing, and the house was very clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and spacious. The owner was very responsive and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth.

Amazing Location and Awesome Cabin

Two adult couples traveling to Yellowstone for the first time. Booked because the men like to fly fish. Awesome shop nearby with a well known expert. Cabin was well equipped, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Location can’t be beat. Views and river were outstanding. Just a wonderful spot. We loved it!

Perfect

Clean, fully equipped, very nice home, perfectly designed and set up as a rustic but comfortable vacation home surrounded by beautiful Montana mountains, an iconic trout stream in the back yard, pronghorns grazing in the front yard, fantastic hiking trails a few minutes away. And it is reasonably close to Yellowstone. The property manager was very easy to work with. Lots of supplies, bear spray, condiments, paper products left by previous occupants. Nice roof-covered out door area facing the river and nice fire pit area with picnic table. If you are a fisherman, hunter, hiker, or just looking for beautiful rural area to just vegetate and rest then this place is great. We would love to return and if so would not even explore other possibilities because we thought the place was perfect for our needs. I will add that there are other homes on the river front so you are not totally isolated there but when you sit on the back porch or the fire pit area it feels like this part of Montana is yours alone.

Dream home

This home is the next thing to a paradise. Very clean, very well organized and stocked up kitchen. The river flowing through the backyard makes this property extra special. Thanks to the owner for letting us stay in this wonderful home.

We loved the property and the location. We were veey disappointed in the overgrowth in the backyard, the online pictures shown trimmed grass and easy access to the water but with the weeds and grass so high it made it a bit more difficult. Please replace a few of the Adirondack chairs, only 2 out of the 4 weren't broken.

Amazing Home in Perfect Setting

We had an excellent stay at Caroline's home on the Madison. Amazing views in the perfect location. Caroline was very responsive. The home housed seven adults and a 15-month-old comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook/grill every day. The home had everything we needed for our toddler, pack and play, highchair and toys. We caught lots of trout, went on several hikes (highly recommend Sheep Creek) and made the short drive into Yellowstone and up to Ennis for the rodeo. We are already planning next years trip back. We could not give a stronger endorsement of this property.

Amazing stay

We had the best time! Stocked with all the amenities you’d need! We saw so many animals! Woke up one morning to 2 deer just hanging out front so amazing! Caroline was so helpful and an amazing host! We cannot wait to go back

Heaven…

Father son tradition fly fishing in Montana. Caroline’s place is THE place to stay. Spectacular views…right on the river. Literally walk 10 steps and you’re there. We WILL be back. Great hosts.

Great Waterfront Retreat

Relaxing place to stay, has everything we were looking for to get away from busy work schedules. Fishing right out the back door, close to Yellowstone NP. Island Park Idaho, Ennis and West Yellowstone Montana are just a short drive away. Lots to do and see, not enough time. We would love to come again. Great place! The Rasmussen Family

Madison River Home

We had a great stay during our week on the Madison. The home had wonderful views, comfortable furnishings and plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. Lots of opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing. We saw bald eagles, ospreys, a family of mergansers, and a herd of antelope from our windows. Highly recommend!

Fly fishing in Montana

This is an amazing home. It far exceeded my expectations. We had 8 guys looking to check Montana and Yellowstone off the Bucket List and this was a great place to base camp. The Madison is literally right in your back yard! Yellowstone is a short 25 minute drive. If I had known everything that was in this house, i would have packed light; there was a full pantry with cooking supplies, coffee and tea. The house was very clean and well maintained. I will definitely come back if i get the chance.

Montana-palooza!

We had THE BEST time! We packed as much into our Montana adventure as possible...horseback riding, rodeo, day trip to Yellowstone, lunch in Big Sky, whitewater rafting, campfires, star-gazing and, of course, lots and lots of fly fishing. Our teenagers opted for card games and puzzling which was such a reprieve for all of us. Many great talks and laughs were had - can't wait to go back!

Stay on the Madison

The house was well appointed with all the necessities for cooking and enjoying a week on the Madison River. The view out the back door is tough to beat and the quiet area made for a peaceful stay.
