Clean and modern, great breakfast

Rob and Natalie went above and beyond to make our stay special. Very clean and modern decor. Outstanding breakfast with home baked bread and lovely supper options.

Short weekend break

Short break over the weekend, nice quiet stay in a small village with restaurants, pub, take away and grocery shopping within walking distance via a slightly steep slope, but in no rush so can take it easy, easy reach with short drives for sightseeing and beaches, nice outside area for sunnier days. Definitely would stay again.

Rob and Nat gave us a lovely warm and friendly welcome. The food was excellent (breakfast and supper)...thanks Rob. Our room and bathroom was perfect...clean with everything that you might need. Lovely relaxed and homely atmosphere. Perfect location for visiting local landmarks. Highly recommend. Hope to stay again in the future.

The hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I had dinner and breakfast and both were using high quality ingredients cooked well. The photo of f my breakfast is only a third of what I could have ordered!

Superb hosts, made to feel very welcome throughout the stay. Effort made to ensure we knew how everything worked and helpful local knowledge of the area imparted. Communication first class from outset. Excellent choice of breakfast which is pre-ordered the night before. Excellent portion sizes, well presented and perfectly cooked. Go the extra mile by providing home cooked bread and ensuring products are sourced locally where possible. Option to provide an evening meal from a set menu of about 5 choices. Both meals we chose were super and good value, would definitely recommend.

The property is cozy and very clean. The room has all the modern amenities with energy efficient facility. The host really take good care of their guests with the best English breakfast. Host is also a very knowledgeable guide providing the in and out of getting to places only the local knows.

Great B&B

A very nice eco-friendly B&B. The room was very comfortable. Rob was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. (Including cooking us a delicious evening meal). Breakfasts were flexible, good quality, well cooked and very nice. Handy for the town and bus stops outside with buses going north and south along the coast. Would highly recommend.

How a B&B Should Be - Chandler’s Lodge

Fantastic weekend at Chandler’s Lodge. Owners Rob and Nat made us feel like we were the only guests there, even though we clearly weren’t. Rob provided excellent advice for our excursions, and the hot breakfasts were delicious. Would give 10 out of 5 stars if we could.

Excellent place to stay

A fabulous place to stay! Clean room with everything in it we needed, king size bed with quality bedding, hot drinks tray, powerful shower with plenty of hot water and a TV that was easy to use. The breakfast was excellent. The owner was happy to accommodate any requests, nothing was too much trouble. The location was good with easy parking. We would highly recommend this B&B.

Stop looking, book here 5*

Outstanding, 5 stars from us! The room was very accommodating, spotless, and well decorated with fresh coffee / Cafetier and tea selections. Rob and Natalia are the greatest of hosts! On the run upto arrival was asked what we would like with our breakfast to which I mentioned my fiancé and I keep it simple due to dietary requirements (gluten) but Rob catered to them with gluten free bread and sausages. The property has been tastefully decorated and a stones throw away to many key tourist hot spots yet in a quiet location. Hosts should be very proud for what they've achieved so Stop looking, book here.

Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Rob is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is lovely and with notice will also cook an extremely tasty supper at a very reasonable price. The room was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
