ABSOLUTELY TREACHEROUS!!! Pictures of parking area are NOT shown in VRBO promotions because the hill, rocks, and lack of handrails will kill you trying to get yourself and all of your luggage and supplies to the front door!!! And if you make it to the house, the stairs from the top floor (where the bedrooms are) to the first floor will do you in!! Less than 3 feet wide and again, NO HANDRAIL, the stairs cannot be to code!! We originally rented this property to see the annual cigarette boat races, only to find out they had been moved! Wouldn't have been able to make it to the dock to see them anyway! The slanted, narrow, gravel path to the dock stairs is for mountain goats and AGAIN: NO HANDRAILS to the dock!! We TOLD our property manager that members of our party were older and required a walker. Did she advise us to the dangers and limitations of this property? NO!!! UNCONSCIONABLE!!Once we made it to the house without losing our lives, we were literally felt trapped there for the entire 5 days. It truly was too dangerous to make another trip to the car except to get out of there and head home. We have rented 30 VRBO properties over the years and this is the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE we have ever had!! Not to mention that the steep hill entering the treacherous driveway scraped and dragged the underside of our vehicle. Who knows what damage that did! NEVER AGAIN!!
