Wonderful accommodations & great location

The accommodations were top notch, everything was as described online if not better. Seth had great communication with us and was always available to be helpful to make our visit to Belfast perfect. The location is great, so close to everything in Belfast. I highly recommend booking this property as you will not be disappointed.

THE BEST APARTMENT IN THE BEST TOWN IN MAINE

I don't do reviews but this place is just exceptional. Perfect location in the heart of town with views of the bay and main street. Windows everywhere. Half a block from the Belfast co-op where you can get the NY Times and 20 different kinds of jerky. And even though there are like four tv's, there are none in the main living room so people actually end up talking to each other. It's just great.

Belfast Getaway

We had a great time staying in Belfast. So much to do and see in this small town. The location was perfect to visit Bar Harbor, Acadia National Forest, and Camden. We loved that it had an authentic feel and was not as "touristy" as some of the other places we visited. The accomodations were wonderful. The place had everything you would need and the location right in the middle of town was perfect. I highly recommend!

Loved the Loft Apartment at Ocean House

Beautifully maintained and exceptionally well appointed home away from home. Arrive, unpack and relax - your vacation begins - no beds to make, supplies to purchase or worries about late night noises. Ideal location for exploring all that Belfast has to offer, and within easy driving distance of Acadia, Camden and Rockland.

Stellar Belfast Property

From the moment we booked to the moment we checked out, Seth and Sarah were enormously helpful. They immediately responded to any questions, had a welcome binder full of information about Belfast and the surrounding area, as well as Fodors and Moon guide books on Maine and Acadia. The VRBO property itself is absolutely stunning. With two floors, three beautifully appointed bedrooms and three fully stocked bathrooms, a gorgeously renovated cooks kitchen, two balconies, we couldn’t have asked for more and definitely wished we had stayed longer. Our experience was so relaxing and right in the center of all the best that Belfast has to offer. The space was remarkably quiet and the split AC system kept everything a perfect temperature. We are already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you, Seth and Sarah

We Love The Ocean House!

This was our second time to Belfast and the Ocean House. We stayed a few years ago on a couples trip and returned in 2023, this time with our kids (18yrs and 14yrs). Both trips were amazing! The Ocean House is a beautiful property with great gathering spaces and room for everyone to spread out. Seth & Greg are fantastic hosts. We can’t wait to return!

Fabulous place

Seth and Greg's two-story apartment was in an ideal location. We did day trips north and south most days. Lots to choose from in the way of restaurants, all within walking distance of the rental. The place itself was so comfortable and roomy. We told ourselves we could live in the apartment. One of the best places we've stayed, and we've rented a lot of VRBO's. Kudos to Seth and Greg.

Great Property and Owners

We were coming back from Canada on a winter trip and wanted to see the area (Maine and Belfast) during the winter versus all of the summer and fall trips that we have taken to the area. We ended up being here during a severe cold snap (minus 18 degrees), so we mostly stayed inside to say the least. The property owner was in touch and brought over a couple of space heaters (just in case). The home is very well built and the space heaters were not needed. The property itself is very well furnished (and done very tastefully), and you will lack for nothing during your stay. The owners were also very responsive and great to communicate with ahead of our arrival and during our stay. We would definitely love to stay again.

Comfortable, well-appointed and convenient

We come to Belfast often to see family and we have stayed at this property before. It is wonderful to be able to walk to shops, the water and the great walking trails. Seth has made sure that the apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and we could cook real meals with the equipment provided. Although this was a winter trip, we have stayed in the summer, too and the balcony overlooking Main Street is really great as is proximity to the ice cream parlour.

Incredible Home Away from Home!

This home had everything we needed and more! Beds were very comfortable. Restaurants and quaint shops we’re right outside our door. Seth, the owner, was wonderful to work with and answered any questions in a very timely manner. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to prepare a special lobster and crab dinner with our family. The bar has now been set very high for all other VRBOs.

Wonderful home in great location.

This was our second stay in this lovely spot which was perfect for our family gathering. Lots of space to gather together or have private time, with easy access to the center of town. Belfast is a great town for walking, exploring, dining, and shopping. We'll be back!

Mid-summer Escape

The Ocean House was the perfect spot for a four night getaway. The location in the heart of Belfast was outstanding. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the harbor. The apartment itself was lovely...just as pictured in its profile. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable for our group. We were amazed that the kitchen was so well equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals when eating in. Seth was very easy to communicate with throughout the booking process as well as during our stay. He answered questions promptly and politely. We hope we have the opportunity to return to Belfast and especially the Ocean House again soon.

Always great!!

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property, and both times we have found the property to be extremely clean and very well appointed. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with any items that you might need for cooking in, or entertaining. The location is perfect-close to the harbor and the quaint downtown areas. The Italian restaurant downstairs is really good and the young couple who run it are very nice. Seth checked in several times (via email) to make sure everything was good. I can't say enough good things about our two stays here....except to say that we are trying to get everyone's vacation times synched for next summer, so that we can come back again!

Exceeded all expectations!

Our group of 6 women journeyed to Maine for a few days of sightseeing before going on to Vermont for a Road Scholar event. The loft was a perfect accommodation. Very well equipped in every room. If we had chosen to cook, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices, etc. Beautiful decor. Great location for people watching. Seth was a perfect host and checked on us after our arrival to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this lovely unit.

Perfect place for a family of six!

We’ve rented many different homes and apartments on HomeAway and other sites and this was by far one of the best. Beautifully restored and furnished and well-stocked with everything you could posssibly need. Can’t say enough about how easy it was to communicate with Seth. He was great! The kids loved the chocolate covered strawberries they left in the refrigerator for us. So many nice touches! We had plenty of room for six and could have easily had room for at least two more adults or kids. Belfast is a cute little town with some neat shops and restaurants and put us within easy distance to Camden and not too far to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
