What a gem this house is for the perfect Cambria get away. Katy was a great host and the house is very comfortable and inviting. Great detail was taken in providing all of the practical items needed, as well as the amenities. Sipping wine at sunset on the huge front porch and watching the deer running by across the street was very special. This location has excellent proximity to town, the beach and the extra bonus of being two blocks from the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Bravo!.

We loved being so close to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The hot tub was fine, although I might have made it a littel hotter. The TV worked well and the ability to stream our channels was appreciated. The abundance of space and the number of outlets were also appreciated. Altogether, a very pleasant stay.

The home is lovely and warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are huge and the beds are super comfortable. The garden in the back is magical. The host is so kind and answers questions quickly. We love this place and can’t wait for the next visit!!!

Very cozy, clean, and welcoming home. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The host was extremely communicative and couldn’t have made the process easier. The house was even decorated for Christmas. We will book here again.

Very clean, although one bedroom (we did not need) had a horrible smell off and on - maybe a skunk under the house? Rooms were large and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied except ice maker didn’t work and there were no trays for making ice. We enjoyed the beautiful woodsy setting and private fenced yard. It was quiet and peaceful.

The house was close to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, which was a big plus. The house itself was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We wished that they had a gas grill, but that was bout the only thing missing. Be prepared to see lots of deer and turkeys in the neighborhood.

Wonderful Home and Stay!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Cambria and can’t wait to come back again. We saw so many deer and turkeys and other wildlife right in front of the house. The rooms were spacious and lovely. The furniture comfy. And we were so grateful to have been able to bring our elderly dog. The garden was so special as well. You won’t regret staying at this beautiful home!!!

Beautiful location and property

We had 5 wonderful nights at the house and loved everything about it. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking at home. And can I add, our dog had a great time on the porch watching deer and turkeys in the lot across the street!! And the hot tub was a relaxing way to end each day.

Cambria Home

We stayed at this property for an evening while passing through the area. Cambria is a charming town and we particularly enjoyed the restaurants downtown. The property is located in a nice hillside neighborhood and has a steep driveway (there is a garage but it is inaccessible to guests), and steep stairs to the front porch; the home is spacious and comfortable. We had no particular difficulties with anything other than that hot tub seemed over chemicaled and foamed greatly. Overall, glad we stayed here.

Nice place.

There were many very nice things about this place. It was clean and well appointed. The rooms were huge and the beds comfortable. The TV setup was great but you have to bring your own streaming logins and passwords, which wasn't a big deal for us.We had some communication problems with the owner when we got there, and we couldn't get into the house until we heard back from them, which took well over an hour. There were a few things that keep me from giving it a higher rating, such as the outside landscape needs to be weeded, and there were a few little things that I missed, like fans in the bathroom or better lighting, especially in the bedrooms. But overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great, spacious one level home

This house was perfect! It was even better than the photos. It has single level living with 3 very spacious bedrooms. The beds are so comfortable. The living, kitchen, areas are large and very well laid out. This house has everything anyone might need for their stay The outdoor area is very cool. My adult children really enjoyed the hot tub. We've stayed in a few homes and have enjoyed all of them, but this house was definitely the nicest and most comfortable.Location was great and very close to Fiscalini ranch preserve.We would definitely hope to stay here again!The

Great location and very comfortable

This location is great for convenient access to Hearst Castle, Cambria restaurants, and Bluff Trail (highly recommend a sunrise stroll!). The house is very comfortable for a family of 4 adults as long as two are good sharing a room with two twin beds. Katy was very responsive with replies to a few questions in advance of our trip.

What more could you ask for?

Being in this house made our Christmas extra special! It was clean, well-stocked, and wonderfully decorated to add lots of holiday charm. They truly thought of everything in terms of what is provided, and the decorative touches in each room. The owner provided quick responses to my questions prior to our stay. The location is fantastic- right down the street from a gorgeous trail head, and right across from an open lot where we saw deer taking a rest! This was definitely one of the best rental homes we've ever stayed in and we would love to return!
