This home is tucked into a mountain above the Moonstone Beach area. It is thoughtfully planned out for maximum rest and relaxation. As the photos show you, the house is grand enough to impress, and cozy enough for comfort. A gourmet kitchen, and dining room perfect for intimate meals and family gatherings. Two bedrooms have king beds, the third has 2 twins, and there is a sofa sleeper in the living room. Walk to town, or to the boardwalk, and have a great dinner at one of the restaurants on Moonstone. Wonderful property, beautiful views. Very well stocked, beds very comfortable (best sleep in quite awhile.) Loved hanging with our granddaughter on the closed in porch. Fantastic hiking and great family park within walking distance.

Amazing place I’m definitely coming back

What a great location, the house was so family friendly, and amazing views from every location. The house had everything we needed and probably one of the best family vacations we’ve had. We will definitely be coming back next year for a full week. The weather was perfect. The views were perfect and the people Cambria are amazing. We’ve been coming here for seven years and this is probably the spot we are always gonna come back to.. thank you again!

A wonderful Goldilocks stay in Cali

This house is one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. We could both gather for shenanigans and split off into our own spaces. The location for all the activities planned were just right - especially the beach. 11/10 for the level of cleanliness and organization of the house. You can tell someone really takes great care of this property. Thank you!

Overall, it's a beautiful home. They do need more cooking frying pans as it was a challenge with only two. We loved the views and time in the sun room which is very warm.

Great birthday weekend with family

I rented this house for a long weekend with my family for my 50th birthday. There were two couples and two children, plenty of room for all of us. The house was an easy walk to downtown for our morning lattes, and nice proximity to running routes! If you’re a cook you might not be happy with the cookware options, but there is a lot of cookware in general (I’m not a fan of non stick, and the non stick cookware was - from what I saw - in poor condition). I used the griddle for cooking as I could to avoid using the cookware. Lots of stairs inside the house which was fine for us but a bit precarious at times with the toddler. The outside areas were very nice for hanging out, lots of dishes and glassware of all sorts. The beds were very comfortable. This is my second time renting with Scenic Coast and have found them very easy to work with, easy check in/check out process. Would definitely rent from Scenic Coast again, would stay at this house again without question! Holiday weekends are challenging in Cambria as the restaurants get packed early and few do takeout, but a relaxed attitude helps :)

Cambria House Has Everything We Needed for Perfect Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four of us had a relaxed weekend of Hearst Castle, Wine Tasting, NFL football and cooking special meals to share. We thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor Weber grill. We've had frustrating experiences at some short-term rentals with basic equipment on hand, but not at this home. The kitchen, dining room, family room and outdoor spaces had everything we needed and more. Excellent!

Family Vacation to California’s Central Coast

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family just returned from a trip to the Central California coast. We did some wine tasting (Paso Robles area - 35 miles away), toured Hearst Castle (9 miles away),etc. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was as described and the views were even more spectacular. Plenty of room for spreading out. It was conveniently located for our activities. It was a 30-45 minute drive to the Paso Robles area. So after doing some wine tasting where the outside temperature was near 100, we returned to our house on the coast where daily temperature were 65-70. A welcome relief. We had a minor issue when we first arrived at the property, but we called and the situation was resolved within the hour. Great response from the rental company. We definitely recommend this property and if our travels take us to this area in the future, we definitely will attempt to stay there again.

We all loved the views and spacious accommodations. There were 7 of us and we are all over 70. The amount of stairs made it extremly difficult for us. The stairs also needed rails on both sides of the staircase. The owners should invest in adding a toilet next to the kitchen. Other than the stair situation and the need for a toilet downstairs, we loved the views, the balconies and the lovely furnishings which made our stay very memorable.

Great use of space with the kitchen/dining room providing a large social space and a well stocked kitchen. The family room and connecting atrium were great living spaces - and the views from the atrium are amazing! Bedrooms were cozy, and the master had a great deck with a view as well. Well stocked with fresh linens and towels. Just a great vibe to the place. I would definitely recommend this property!

When you first walk in you will be mesmerized by the amazing views! This house is nicely decorated and it has a wonderful enclosed sun porch which is perfect for watching the ocean with your morning coffee (or anytime really). It is a split level home with quite a few stairs, the master bedroom is on the third level with its own balconey deck and more beautiful views. I’ve been very comfortable here over the years and will miss this home because we have finally purchased our own home in this town. Love everything about Casa Coventry!

The blue sofas and gold lounge chairs also need a deep cleaning----They smell sour musty. We aired the cushions in the sun room and used fabric fabreeze to make them livable. Many of the screens on the sunroom windows are missing. A child could fall out easily. That being said--- we had a wonderful time and would return.

The sun room and view of the ocean are wonderful. Unfortunately, this year, due to the flea infestation, our stay was really difficult and disappointing. The property management people were good to work with, but whoever had the rental before us must have had flea-invested pets.

You can hear the waves breaking, especially at night when the traffic from Highway 1 dies down. The kitchen is great and well equipped. We do our own cooking so this was important. The beds were comfortable but warmer bedding would be nice. Although we had cable TV, we did not have smart TVs so couldn't stream our favorite shoes (not a big deal). We loved it and will probably come again.

Reviewer Comments: Casa Coventry offers gorgeous ocean views from multiple patios, a gourmet and fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room for togetherness as well as quiet spots to work. The master suite is gorgeous with a luxurious bath while the center level offers two lovely bedrooms and a bath. We will definitely return for a month of relaxation and family.

An enjoyable Casa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was a working vacation - play in the AM, work in the PM. A large house, well appointed especially the kitchen. Nice ocean views. Master suite is quite large, plenty of storage. Guests have access to the garage which is good for toys/luggage or a small car. Some negatives: the bowls in the kitchen are not microwaveable and are plastic (otherwise, the utensils etc are plentiful and are of good quality). The driveway is cramped. If you have a large vehicle you'll need to master the 8 point turnaround. The exterior of the house is in dire need of maintenance - the rails have wood rot, the paint is peeling in parts, pine needles have accumulated on the roof and gutters. The house is above Hwy 1 so there is traffic noise. But, in the evening, as the traffic dissipates, the sound of the ocean comes back and lasts through out the night. The house is in walking distance of the West Village and Moonstone Beach. The surrounding neighborhood is generally quiet. It seems that in 2022 this house is going to a short term rental status; thus the monthly rent has doubled. Worth consideration for a short term stay, but probably better values out there for a month if you can find one.
