The fenced area was helpful for the dogs but there was no mention of threats from vultures and hawks, which were plentiful. Hosts were responsive and installed 2 window screens but there are several other screens in need of repair. Beautiful views, great for birding and relaxing.

Wonderful location, beautiful views of rolling hills, and peaks of the ocean through the lingering clouds. House is well maintained and has everything you need. This is a pet friendly home so our English Lab enjoyed himself, too. It was a lovely, relaxing weekend! Close to Cambria town, ocean and beaches and also made a day trip to Paso Robles.

Simply stunning

Having rented many VRBO properties, I can truly say the Cinnabar ranch house exceeded all expectations. One could not find more peace and quiet and incredible views than at Bram & Jessie's property. It is simply beautiful inside and out and as well stocked as one could expect. Where else could you be greeted by several very docile Longhorn steers. You can not go wrong by renting this stunning property!

Perfect restorative weekend

One of our best stays to date. Property was beautiful; views were even better than anticipated. Location was easily accessible to town, but removed enough to be completely peaceful and private. The dogs were happy and exhausted just from sniffing around the yard all weekend. Easy check-in and reasonable check-out procedures. Would love to return!

We had a fantastic time up in the hills. The views from this house are beautiful. I loved sitting in back watching the hummingbirds. It was just a short drive to do the things we wanted. The house had everything we needed and some.

Just Wow!

I'm writing this sitting at the dining room table, on the last morning here. What a fantastic setting, experience, and location. Just three nights, but perfect spring weather. (ok, not exactly a function of the location, but still . . . ) Anyway, this is a custom, architect designed home, way up on a hill, overlooking Cambria. 360 degree views in all locations. Elegant, striking, comfortable for two couples. Everything was exactly what one looks for in a VRBO rental. Well stocked, well maintained, everything functional. The Owner/Managers were professional in every way. Great communication, instructions, explanations. Staying here is just an experience to have. Thanks so much!

Great stay but….

Beautiful property with even more beautiful view. House it clean and arranged well. Made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The one downside is the long check out list and house rules. It’s a beautiful place so it makes sense they want to keep it in good standing shape, but the house rules and check out list was a bit excessive.

Peace and Tranquility

We found this place to be way above our expectations. There were several hickups pertaining to maintinance issues but they were repaired quickly. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible. We met the 5 member coyote pack.. Not far from town at all and the drive is incredible. We will definitely be back again.

Quiet Cambria Retreat

Did I mention quiet? To be honest, I don't believe I've ever been in a quieter location. Off the main road, Cinnabar Ranch is the perfect place to get away from it all. The well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals - and with the most incredible views! The grill on the patio is easily accessed for multitasking dinner prep. We appreciated the layout of the home with bedrooms at either end for complete privacy. The beds were very comfy! Being avid bird watchers, we were amazed at the number of species observed. California quail are in abundance here, as are black chinned hummingbirds, California towhees, and turkey vultures circling above. We also met a male California brown tarantula on an early evening stroll. We are already looking at our calendars to plan our next trip here - certainly an exceptionally special place in Cambria. 10 stars out of 5!

Heavenly Anniversary

Our Anniversary trip to the Cambria area of California was just as the title states, Heavenly. The home is everything you can imagine based on the wonderful pictures, just stunning in person. The home was very clean and ready for our use, especially appreciated a well stocked kitchen, we love to cook. Just loved the town of Cambria and our Julia Morgan tour of Hearst Castle. Keeping this short I will finish by simply saying you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the owners for sharing this amazing place.
