"This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

"Maison très bien aménagée mais l’annonce ne prévient pas qu’il n’y a rien à votre arrivée. A peine un demi rouleau de papier toilette Dans la cuisine, rien, pas de savon, pas d’éponge, pas de sel ou de poivre.."

"Le seul inconvénient c'est que sur l'annonce d'abritel, vous nous annoncez 1 chambre à 2lits doubles alors qu'il y en a 1, sinon logement et alentours très agréables, propriétaire très sympathique."

"A lovely property with a fantastic pool. The only slight disappointment was that the pool became unusable for 2 days because a chemical treatment, that should have been done before our arrival, was started on Tuesday afternoon."
