Oceanfront Beach House on Camano Island: Gone Coastal Beach House.

  • Welcome to Gone Coastal Beach House! We are on a serene beachfront with majestic ocean and mountain views. We are also a completely renovated, light, open, airy, modern, seaside, family-friendly home with 70 feet of beachfront vacationing for rest and relaxation.

    Walk on the beach from your own backyard and watch the abundance of wildlife, from eagles and seals to Gray and Orca whales. The view is beyond amazing!

    Use our paddle boards to explore the mountainous Port Susan waterways in the beautiful Puget Sound. Maybe do some shell fishing and crabbing. Or play tennis at the nearby Camano Tennis and Pickleball Courts or golf at the Camaloch 18-hole course.

    We advocate a little self-care with some yoga at sunrise. Yoga mats and accessories are in the hallway closet. Or relax and enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee from the large deck, which offers 180-degree views of the incredible coastal sea. Maybe an afternoon nap on the hammock? Gone Coastal Beach house is a 5-minute drive to shops and Cama Beach Historic State Park and a 45-minute drive to picturesque Deception Pass State Park.

    The beach house has board and card games for a lively evening if you're interested in a little friendly family competition. Of course, there's always movie night with Starz and Showtime movies on the smartTV.

    The beach house is 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Seattle for an easy day trip into the city.

    The house sleeps up to 12 people with four bedrooms and two baths. We are pet friendly, with up to 2 small to medium dogs. With a removable cover, we have an orthopedic bed in front of the fireplace for these furry family members to make them feel extra special.

    We are located in the Camano Country Club neighborhood. Feel free to take a 5-minute bike ride on our beach cruiser bikes to check out the clubhouse's quaint art gallery. The community has two beach parks, and the house is within a 2-minute walk of one of them, which has a large play structure for the little ones.

We enjoyed this lovely, well kept home situated right on the beach. The place is comfy and well stocked. We saw whales two days in a row as well as bald eagles, herons, geese with goslings, and cottontail bunnies.

Lovely stay on the beach

We had a great weekend staying at Gone Coastal. Amazing beach access with nearby parks for the kids made this a perfect way to spend our Canadian thanksgiving with friends.

Our group of ten enjoyed a fantastic belated birthday/Father’s Day/summer solstice at the Gone Coastal beach house. We had excellent views of Mount Baker and the Cascades to accompany the beach. I was surprised how warm the water of Port Susan is, ideal for wading, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We saw eagles, herons, and smaller shorebirds constantly. The house is extremely organized and easy to relax in. Our group was three generations of extended family and the diversity of room sleeping arrangements made it easier to accommodate our group. I have to give a special thank you to Kim and Arne for their flexibility and graciousness. Excellent hosts.

Wonderfully relaxing

This house was “as advertised” and our family really enjoyed a peaceful stay right on the water. They’ve done a great job providing multiple, comfortable, seating options with which to enjoy your time relaxing and overlooking the water.

Family getaway in Camano

Our stay at the rental was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The space was clean, spacious, and in the perfect location. We enjoyed the view and ate every meal on the deck. The rental was really well stocked and organized and it was just the dreamiest and perfect vacation. We will be back!

Great place!

Family Time

Lovely home on a quiet beach. Plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy the view, inside and out. Early morning risers loved the sunrise. Nice beach for long walks when the tide is out.

We can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at the Gone Coastal Beach House! Right on the beautiful beach, it was clean and spacious enough for our whole family. The house had everything we needed and more! The hosts are very generous with supplies and also provided resources for local activities.The deck was the perfect place to hang ourt at any time of day, and the beach offered so much to do! We had fun on the paddleboards, beach walks, went crabbing and paddling most days.Thank you to our hosts for providing such a remarkable place to vacation!

Family Holiday

We spent Thanksgiving at the beach house and had a great time! The view is amazing and the house was wonderful! Kim has thought of everything to make the stay perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed for our holiday. We will for sure be back, would love to stay during the summer next time!

Excellent amenities

This home was very clean and very well stocked, hard to find in a place that also accepts dogs. Kim was quick to respond and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful property. We had a great family weekend. The house is very clean and well stocked. There are many extras that made our stay extra special. The deck is so nice. Our granddaughters enjoyed the paddle boards. I highly recommend this property. Enjoyed the neighbors on both sides.

Family Vacation

We liked the peace and quiet and the beautiful view. We reconnected as a family and played the board games and did some paddle boarding. The house is beautiful and well appointed and very organized.

Great Property/Great Getaway

Location was excellent right on water. The property was incredibly well appointed and designed and with guests in mind. Great light, modern appliances and fixtures throughout both indoors and outside as well. Owner was very communicative before check in to make sure we got to everything OK and with any guidance. Really enjoyable and will likely be returning this year for a quick easy get away.

Wonderful property

Pictures look just like the property. Wonderful home, so many added bonuses past the standard shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Basically everything you would need! And the outdoor space was superb & well kept. Definitely would rent again.

We had such a great stay at the Gone Coastal Beach House! House was as advertised and comfortably fit our family of 5. We loved how well-stocked the house was (toiletries, kitchen needs, even yoga mats!). The location was perfect - right on the beach with lots of driftwood forts for the kids to play in, and plenty of blackberry brambles for fresh blackberry picking. Communication with the host was prompt and very responsive. Definitely a spot we’d return to again and again.

Serenity

This is a truly beautiful house in an excellent location - near hiking trails and grocery stores. Supplies were generously provided, including dog toys. Our family group of 7 was ages 17 to 84 and the family dog. We all enjoyed the house and the views.
