Notre séjour du mois de septembre a été excellent ; l'atmosphère de cette ancienne demeure, ses jardins et sont emplacement sont une merveille ; à recommander !!! La propriétaire est une artiste extrêmement sympathique comme sa petite-fille.

Sommerurlaub mit Freunden

Wir verbrachten 1 Woche in dem Objekt, insgesamt 3 Familien. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind wirklich atemberaubend. Auch der Badeort Lido di Camaiore hat sehr viel zu bieten und das Meer ist schön. Leider ist das Haus in keinem guten Zustand, Küche und Bäder haben höchstens ein 1-2-Sterne-Niveau. Garten und Pool sind nicht wirklich gut gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin war schwierig und für Kinder ist das Haus nicht geeignet, weil ständig die Sorge der Eigentümerin um Möbel und Fresken bestand. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, haben viele Ausflüge gemacht, das Haus empfehlen wir nicht weiter!

We spent a week at Villa Camaiore and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were fourteen of us, and the villa had ample room to accommodate all of us comfortably. Some of the areas we especially enjoyed were the third floor suite, which had four bedrooms, a kitchen, and a nice common area with a television. Six of our grandkids stayed up there and loved it. We also spent a lot of time at the outdoor covered terrace. It had comfortable chairs and couches and a long table where we ate all of our meals. The views from the terrace are amazing. The pool area was very popular with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas. The hosts were very nice and everything went smoothly. A couple of things to note. Part of the reason we rented this villa was for the piano and pool table. When we got there, we found out that we couldn’t use them. This should be made clear in the description. Otherwise, we had a lovely time at Villa Camaiore. Thank you!

Die Beschreibungen unserer Vor-Mieter hatten nicht zu viel versprochen: Die Lage, der Garten und die Räumlichkeiten dieser äusserst stilvollen Villa sind als exzellent zu bezeichnen. Mit sehr kleinen Kindern wird man (unseres Empfindens nach...) zu Beginn etwas zu heftig darauf aufmerksam gemacht, was man alles nicht darf bzw. sein lassen sollte.... Ist dann aber angesichts der im Detail sehr liebevoll gepflegten, mit wunderschöner Kunst ausstaffierten Villa irgendwann auch verständlich wird. Die Eigentümer haben viel Herzblut investiert, was man spürt, wenn man in diesem "Kunstobjekt" als Haus ein paar Tage verbringt. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich bei Bedarf auch um die Unterstützung bei "Notfällen" (so uns geschehen, als meine Tochter ihre teure Augen-Kontaktlinse im Waschbecken runterspülte... ein Sanitär-Fachmann war schnell zur Stelle trotz heftigen Regenfällen, die Linse wurde glücklicherweise wieder gefunden). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Empfehlen können wir allen zukünftigen Gästen noch, in den Herbstmonaten genügend warme Kleidung mitzubringen. Das Haus ist sehr gross und kühlt bei schlechterem Wetter schnell ab.
