"This villa is truely enormous, it feels luxurious, it was spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped. There is no detail the owners have not thought of. The owners are completely charming and nothing is too much trouble. The layout is such that upstairs was like a seperate apartment for couple one with a toddler, with a fun circular outdoor bath on the terrace that the kids loved, and downstairs was like a seperate three bedroom apartment that couple two used for themselves, their toddler and the baby in seperate rooms. It suited us perfectly, but in truth the place could have slept at least another four people I would think. The living room is simply cavernous. Calvi is a great place for families with the huge white sand beach and turqouise bay, beach bars, vast numbers of restaurants, charming old town and wonderful quayside area. Don't miss the coastal train ride, which stops in lots of nice places and finishes at the superb, ancient town of Ile Rousse, with yet more lovely beaches. We had a great time. Thanks, Christian!"
