"We stayed 2 nights in late June. The property was as advertised; no issues. Great views of Donner Lake, but the water is still frigid in late June, so we only dipped our toes in. It is a short drive to the restaurants and shopping in Truckee. Not very far to the north shore of Lake Tahoe either. Overall, we had a good stay. "

"It’s hard to find a comfy house that allows dogs, so we are glad we found this one! The house is HUGE. 3 floors so if you don’t do stairs well maybe re think this house. We didn’t mind the stairs at all. The house was super warm when we used the central heater and they provide a space heater for every room. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans you could want. Everything in the kitchen works super well. Could use. A bit more silverware. Overall the stay was great and we’d stay...

"The pictures do not show nor is it described how steep and long the driveway is. We were not told we would need snow chains to be able to go up and down it. The walk from the driveway to front door was a huge 4 foot pile of snow that was NEVER cleared. We spent hours shoveling it and the driveway on multiple days. "My teenage daughter and I stayed in this house for a long weekend to go skiing at Sugarbowl. The house is really big and well equipped, with a lot of space for everybody. It was very clean and check in was the easiest I have ever experienced with a rental. We had some issues with the heating but the hosts were communicative and helpful. The price was amazing for this kind of house. We loved our stay and would return again anytime."

"What a great house! Well maintained. The interior is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need or want. It’s spacious with modern appliances and really cool stuff to make your stay comfortable and satisfying. Our host anticipated an unusual cold snap and notified us they had added extra firewood for our stay. (Nice touch). We will definitely stay again! Thank you Shaun and Bill."

"Perfect house and location for our summer trip! The house was perfect for 8 couples and had plenty of spaces to hangout. We were able to access hiking and biking trails from the front door and saw deer, bears, and all the birds! Really fun stay!"

"This property was great, our family was very happy with the house. The West End Beach is only 2 min drive from the house and a fabulous place to hang out for the day on Donner Lake with bathrooms and picnic tables and a playground for the kids. There is a very small beach across the street but it is very rocky and was hard for the little kids. There is a fishing dock right across the street and it was a fun place for the kids to catch crawdads. Over all our family gives this house a 5 star...
