Como en casa

Todo perfecto. Desde los dias antes que Judy se pone en contacto para que tu llegada sea perfecta, hasta tu llegada y recibimiento por partd de Samantha. Las dos son grandes profesionales y se encargan de todos los detalles para que no te falte de nada. La información es tan extensa que necesitarías un año para realizar todas las propuestas que sugieren. La.casa simplemente es espectacular, habitaciones muy amplias, los baños muy bien con ducha y bañera, la cocina con gran cantidad de menaje y un gran salon comedor y un rincón fabuloso de relax donde puedes descansar, o simplementr disfrutar ssntado leyendo o escuchando música. El exterior es verdaderamente increible. Hay muchas plantas y arboles que estan muy bien atendidas lo que hace un lugar hermoso y fresco. La piscina está superlimpia y tienes tu zona de sol y de sombra pars elegir lo que más te apetezca en el momento. En los alrededores hay de todo y todo está muy cerca. La localización es perfecta porque sin estar aislada, el silencio y la tranquilidad es marsvillosa. Hemos estado muy a gusto y volveríamos sin dudarlo. Muchas gracias por todo

lovely peaceful villa with a pool

we enjoyed our stay a lot! the villa provides breathtaking views over Calonge to the sea and mountains nearby. the territory is not overlooked by neighbours, thus providing calm and privacy. the place is very well equipped, with any possible thing or appliance you may need while on a vacation. Thank you Judy for your time and attention and the presents you made us! Sam was very nice and welcoming as well. we've spent here one of the best vacations and are looking forward to return, especially when our baby is grown up a bit :)

The accomodation, the service, the additional local information all fine tuned to assist the guest to get the best in this beautiful setting on the edge of Calonge village with views and walks a welcome treat. If you are on a walking, cycling or car journey holiday .. this is a great place to return to daily and refresh for the next trip out..

Absolutely Fabulous Villa

The most beautiful villa, in gorgeous gardens in a lovely area. The villa had everything you could possibly need. Very spacious living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect layout for a family. There was such a varied choice of outdoor seating in each area of the grounds, that you can eat outside at anytime choosing sun or shade. Fabulous pool and the most stunning views out towards the sea. All correspondence has been very informative and helpful with all arrangements right from booking. The lady who looks after villa out there is so friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough, we were all very sad to leave.

Beautiful villa - 5* holiday

The villa is situated on the hillside giving extensive views over Calogne old town and castle then on to the sea. Inside the villa we had absolutely everything we needed for our holiday. Special mention for the information folders about the villa and local area. Extensive details on places to visit and restaurants - having spare copies of the information for guests to take with them was a great idea. We loved the design of the villa - centred around a wide spiral staircase - quirky and original. Outside is superb. There are plenty of areas to sit, with private spaces / balconies from each bedroom. The pool is large, clean and very well maintained. The layout of the gardens is beautiful - everything was in full bloom on our visit - spectacular. Special thanks to the owner (Judy) for excellent communication throughout and Samantha the local contact who was very helpful and fun. We highly recommend the villa.

Very unfortunate that for our 2 week stay a house was being constructed next to us with pile drivers breaking rocks and JCB clearing into lorries, 8am until 5.30 pm with 30min break. We were unaware of this work planned on making our last minute booking with you.

Wir haben zwei Wochen Ende Juli in dieser Villa verbracht, Samantha hat uns herzlich empfangen und sehr gut betreut, hat schnell auf die Fragen geantwortet und Probleme gelöst. Die Lage der Villa ist für uns ideal gewesen, ruhig, privat und man kann mit dem Auto viele Ausflugsziele und Strände erreichen. Der Garten ist wunderschön und der Pool hatte angenehme 28 Grad, man hat tollen Blick aufs Meer und die Stadt. Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet, sogar ein Getränkekuhlschrank ist vorhanden. Wir empfehlen die Villa weiter und ziehen es in Betracht wieder zu kommen. Judy ist eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin.

La maison correspond exactement à notre attente.Spacieuse,claire,chambres bien climatisées(le bas aussi mais nous n’en avons pas eu besoin) Tout est prévu pour le buen être. Top locatie!

Het huis en de omgeving geven je het ultieme vakantiegevoel. Het huis is ruim en er zijn genoeg plekken om je rust op te zoeken. Het uitzicht is fascinerend mooi. Overal, prachtig huis en mooie sfeer!

Mooie, schone privé villa met een fantastisch uitzicht en een prachtige tuin. Host Samantha was erg vriendelijk en eigenaar Judy geeft uitgebreid informatie over de regio en de villa. De villa is een mooie uitvalsbasis om de dorpjes/stadjes Saint Antonie, Palamos en Platja d’Aro te verkennen (10 min rijen). De keuken in de villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en uitgerust met uitstekend apparatuur. In de buurt zijn maar liefst 3 supermarkten te vinden met verse producten.

We have just spent 2 weeks at the villa, it was clean and was as stated in the spec. Calonge was an easy 10 minute walk from the villa with a good Spar supermarket which has a great meat counter. Views from the villa were excellent and the villa was very private and peaceful. Great WiFi connection for all 4 in our party. Access to English TV / films via Netflix and Amazon. Both Judy and Sam were easily contactable both before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxing holiday👍 Car required for beach and access to larger towns/cities for shopping.

An absolute gem

We just loved it here. We were playing golf near Girona but wanted to stay in a local village. The house is in a perfect location as the old village of Calonge is so quaint. The house is a 5 minute drive to the coast where you can find a beautiful promenade walk and great restaurants. The manager Sam is English and so very helpful and friendly. The house is just fantastic as it is clean, well equipped with everything you need and has beautiful gardens. It was such a pleasure to come back after a long day and relax by the pool. The views are magnificent. The location is great for Girona , the golf and all the lovely local villages and places of interest. We would have liked longer so we will return sometime and enjoy this wonderful house again Many Thanks

This property is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. You definitely need a car to get around there are not many restaurants/shops in the immediate area. Wonderful cottage and best treatment

We had a great holiday while staying in this cottage. The owner and the manager are very nice and helpful which helps a lot to quickly get to know the cottage and local area. The cottage itself is one of the best. It has everything you might ever need. We even come across a beach umbrella. There are plenty of seating inside and out sun or shade. Easy access to local town and supermarkets. Short drive to the sea side with long walks along the beach. We loved this place very much.

Traumhafte Ferien

Wir waren nun schon zum 2. Mal in der Villa Tranquilla. Genau wie beim ersten Mal auch gab es überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden. (Vielleicht die vielen Stechmücken und Ameisen- aber ich glaube dafür kann niemand etwas :-)). Wenn man irgendwie Hilfe braucht ist Sam sofort zur Stelle. Super schön fanden wir auch die vielen Getränke, die in der Villa auf uns gewartet haben. Die Besitzer der Villa sind wirklich sehr aufmerksam und auf alles ist bis ins Detail bedacht. Vielen Dank für so einen tollen Urlaubsort!!!

Perfect tranquility

This was such an amazing property to stay in for 2 weeks at the start of June. The outdoor space is spectacular - the photos don’t do it justice. There are so many little outdoor spaces to sit, you can be sure to find one in the sun or shade, to your liking. There is an area at the back of the property that was a complete sun trap (and washing dried within half an hour!). Plenty of loungers and cushions too. The garden was spectacular and the pool clean. It was also larger and deeper than expected, but still a little cool at the time we went. We spent most of the time outdoors, but the indoor living space is also very comfortable. The accommodation is on 3 levels, and you enter on the middle level which has a full bathroom with separate shower, the twin room and access to the garage. Upstairs are 2 large double rooms with balconies, and a bathroom with shower over the bath. On the lower floor is the kitchen, living space and Sundowner room. Lots of doors lead to the pool, terrace and garden areas. Communications with Judy are faultless, and the check in with Sam was smooth. The welcome pack was most appreciated, and the beer/wine fridge in the kitchen was well utilised! The villa is ideally located with great views across Calonge to the sea. There is an abundance of supermarkets nearby. We drove around the scenic small towns and villages nearby, but also did day trips to Barcelona and Montserrat which were well worth the extra travelling. Platja D’Aro was our favourite place to find an evening meal. Our son hired a top of the range road bike from Girona and spent a week cycling the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the villa and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
