"My husband and I stayed here with two of our friends. The cabin is the perfect size for a group of 4. It is settled in the middle of the woods right off of the North Country trail. It is a 20 min drive to Cook Forest and 2.5 miles from Downtown Clarion. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the inside of the cabin. There is a main bedroom and a smaller bedroom upstairs. You have to go through the main bedroom to get to the full bathroom and the rooms are right next to each other. We knew about the close sleeping quarters prior to this and it wasn’t an issue for us. The sheets were clean and fresh. There is also a half bathroom downstairs. There is a complete stocked kitchen with a stove/oven and a full size fridge. The outside of the cabin, though needing a little bit of care was also very nice. We enjoyed hanging out on porch. There is a charcoal grill included. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The owner got us hooked up with firewood. He was extremely responsive to all of our needs and easy to deal with. This property does advertise a dock, which is a hike through the woods or a short drive around the corner. We did go to that area and really enjoyed the viewing platform. However, there did not seem to be what we would consider a dock at the bottom. There are very steep stairs down to the river that would be difficult to carry a kayak down. That definitely was not a deal breaker though. Overall, we had a really great stay and would definitely come back again."

"This motel exceeded my expectations! I love that it is a throwback to the old school motor lodges. I mean, that's what it was and in a way still is. However, it has been very nicely upgraded. The rooms are clean with cool cabin theming. The bed was super comfortable. Staff was amazing. I love that you get a 10$ voucher for breakfast (which was delicious). If you need a clean, comfortable room for the night, look no further! "
