Callala Bay long weekend unwind

This property is a couple of minute's walk from a picturesque beach.The property is comfortable for a family, with a fenced yard for dogs. There is a comfy loungeroom and a great bbq to cook up a delicious meal with. There is a coffee cart 2 doors down.This is a great place to relax.

Family friendly house

We stayed at Callala Cottage with three adults and three children, aged 2, 6 and 9 years old for a week. There is a spacious backyard with a big trampoline and cubby house. The host provides lots of outdoor and indoor toys and board games, which our kids loved! The beds are comfortable. We brought our own linen and towels. There are no hand towels, so you need to bring these if you don't hire the bed linen/towels. To get to the second bathroom you need to walk across the veranda. It is more a laundry than a bathroom but has a shower (no shower curtain) and toilet.A bit more attention to the inside of cupboards, drawers and pantry would have been great as there were crumbs and dust. Surfaces, floors and bathrooms were clean.It is a five minute walk to Callala Beach beach, which is beautiful and less crowded than other beaches in the area. The little coffee shop two houses down the road is open from 7-11am and has good coffee. It is a five minute drive to the IGA in Callala Bay.Our highlights in the area were Cave Beach in Booderee National Park (kangaroos and a wonderful beach), the rock pools in Currarong, the Woollamia Boat Ramp to see sting rays and pelicans and the Blow Hole in Kiama.The host was excellent with communication and check-in was easy.

Family holiday Jan 2025

Very comfortable and well equipped holiday home with easy access to a lovely beach in a quiet location. Check in process was straightforward, communication with the host excellent and clear information also provided about check out requirements. The supermarket and some other shops in Callala Bay are a short drive away, there are a range of national parks within easy driving distance, as well as various activities at Huskisson/Vincentia.

weekend getaway

A charming cottage with a warm and welcoming feel. Well equipped and very comfortable for our group of 6 adults. Our dog loved roaming the yard. Short stroll to the beach and coffee cart round the corner. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Home away from home.

This is the second time we have stayed at the beautiful callala beach cottage. It never dissapoints. Its clean and has lots to entertain everybody. The trampoline and cubby are the key favourites for the kids. Keys are easy to access. I definitely will be booking again with David. Such a pleasure to stay in your home for our holiday. Thank you

A real gem at Callalla Beach

This property exceeded expectation in every way. It was thoughtfully stocked so that our immediate needs were met. The location is wonderful, a short walk to the beach and shops closeby but not too close. Congratulations David for a complete holiday venue.

Pleasant as always

We've stayed at this property a few times and each time has been great. David is very responsive and accomodating, price was fair (especially considering it was the school holidays). We feel right at home whenever we stay and the best part about it is we get to bring our puppy Millie along ! Thanks again for a great stay ☺️

Long weekend adventure

David's place in Callala Beach was perfect location for our winter friend getaway, close to the beach, Nowra, and Jervis Bay. We appreciated the big table and the kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking at home. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

More than meets the eye

Cottage was amazing, all we had hoped for and more. Spacious enough that we didn’t feel cramped together, but still a lovely homely feel. Very close to the beach you could hear the waves each morning. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cosy at the beach

We had a great stay at Callala Beach. The cottage is so close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing, when you get to the beach it is white sands and beautiful water. The cottage had all the creature comforts and check in and out was super easy. We had our little Italian Greyhound with us and the yard was definitely doggy safe. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks David
