"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Casita. The space had all the required amenities, comfortable bed, easy access, and the host was friendly and helpful. "We loved Barb’s place so much. Very clean and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I to visit Carmel and surrounding areas. Comfy bed and nice amenities. All of Barb’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. Favorite being Dametra Cafe and least being Misson Ranch. Cooler weather than I expected in June, and always windy so needed jackets daily. "This place is exceptionally clean and thoughtfully designed by Julie to feel as comfortable as home. My daughter and I stayed for two nights to attend a wedding and shared the very comfortable full-size bed. The sheets, pillows, and towels were high quality and spotless. The full-size kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, with water, sodas, and fruit provided, along with ample kitchen and bath towels. The body wash was also high quality. I highly recommend this place!"

I will echo what others have said about the shower as I was glad someone had previously reviewed and mentioned it so I could make my own decision- it is about 18-24 inches down without a safe way to step in and a large picture window which is uncovered.
