"A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away."

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. "In peaceful Nidderdale - just what we needed for a quiet slow-paced break. The cottage was well-appointed and homely (which can't be said about a lot of self-catering places we've stayed). Simon was friendly and welcoming as were the ginger retrievers and the two inquisitive cats. :-)"

"Perfect escape and perfectly placed to explore beautiful North Yorkshire and beyond. Surprise welcome pack with all sorts of delicious treats, even the dogs got one! Great circular walk by the stream from the doorstep and driving in any direction offered breathtaking views. The cottage was so tastefully presented and spotless throughout. Lovely neighbours too, we could have stayed on another week. Will recommend to family and friends Looking forward to a return visit… thank you so much"

"We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre."
