Alison and Mark, owners/hosts are amazing. Nothing was too much for them. I don't drive. Both offered to drive to the village to the shops if I needed anything. Their beautiful cottage had everything you need. An added bonus was a log burner, coal also provided. Bottle of prossecco as a welcome gift. Lovely surprise. The scenery is outstanding.. its a one bedroom rustic modern cottage. Also has heating installed. Instructions folder for all appliences and maps of the area and surrounding areas. All local amenities are alsovin the folder with emergency numbers too. There is a river which runs through just across from the cottage with use of their huge garde. Stunning forest trail set in a beautiful valley. Cant thank them enough for their hospitality. I highly recommend their beautiful cottage. Their house is next door which made me feel comfortable as I ravel on my own. Another added bonus is they except up to 2 pets too. I had my new cat and a friends dog with me.. Thank you Alison and Mark for making my childhood dream Christmas break come true.v

This pretty little cottage is in a beautiful location, you really have to see it to believe it. We loved our stay here, there was so much to do and see we will have to return and we definitely wished we had booked for longer. So many walking routes on the doorstep in the most spectacular scenery.It is a perfect haven, our host gave us a warm welcome and the cottage had everything you could need.

Small bit cozy so many walks in the woods waterfalls and so quiet we walked along the. Loch sides and visited Inverary,Dunoon, the green welly Stop at tyndum had meals at two Pubs no more than 4 miles from cottage Were the food and service was excellent We certainly recommend this holiday location.

Small, cosy cottage set in the most oeace oustanding of locations surrounded by forests, waterfalls and mountains. The cottage was smaal but cosy and was well eqippedeverything you needmost stunningly

The cottage is small but beautifully laid out with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Instructions given by hosts for entry were clear. It is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the deep peacefulness of this corner of Scotland. It is located in woodland in the midst of a network of local walks. It is also within easy reach of many of Argyll’s historic and ancient sites.

Je weet dat het weer in Schotland heel erg wisselvallig kan zijn en de midges hongerig. Wanneer je je tegen beiden wapent kun je in Glenbranter Cottage de vakantie van je leven hebben! Een prachtige plek, prima uitvalsbasis voor allerlei activiteiten in de omgeving, magische natuur (Puck's Glen!!!) rust, ruimte, vriendelijke mensen, heerlijk eten (wel even wennen aan de openingstijden/sluitingstijden van Tearooms en Inns en Restaurants), fantastische wandelingen zowel voor de avonturier als voor de bedaagde wandelaar. Wandelroutes goed en duidelijk aangegeven. Wij kijken op een geweldige vakantie terug. Oh ja de woning: knus, stil, schoon, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, goede meubels en heel vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer/vrouw. Mark kent de omgeving op zijn duimpje; hij is opgegroeid in en rond Glenbranter. Een absolute aanrader.

Loved the location and all the stunning walks directly from the cottage, wildlife was great and Mark gave us really useful tips. Take the Dunoon ferry to save travel time instead of driving round no booking needed, just drive on.

The cottage was perfect for a week in the outdoors. The area surrounding is stunning, forest, mountains, lochs and coastline. Lovely local pubs and really good information in the owners guide. Couldn’t have been happier!

We had a great few days in Glenbranter Cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for two, and a very comfortable place to spend time, as well as a well-located base from which to explore the area. Very helpful hosts, Mark and Alison, too!

We had such a relaxing time, we were made to feel very welcome (including our 🐶) all the furnishings we needed were supplied at the cottage by the lovely Mark & Alison (& Dolly) Quality linens, utensils and the cottage was well maintained and spotless clean. Amazing walks, gorgeous garden to relax and eat in. A peaceful location and we will definitely be back there, could be our new getaway ! Thank You for a fantastic break x

A lovely/cosy little cottage in beautiful surroundings ideal for walking/fishing or just complete relaxing! Cottage was spotlessly clean and everything there you needed.Mark and Alison the owners,were very helpful and obliging.We would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.

We came here for our anniversary weekend and to get away from the hustle and bustle of edinburgh. What an absolute delight it was. Friendly people, stunning surroundings and so central to all the places we wanted to visit. Absolutely will recommend to anyone looking for an escape from reality.

Hiking in every direction and away from it all. Property is clean but doesn't offer an oven; however, a convection microwave in its place will do the trick for reheating meals or quick cooking items. Right next to the road so expect a tractor in the early mornings that does go back and forth while working and tending to the needs of the roads and trails. Small and very accommodating for a couple. A bit damp even with heat on but they have a small wood fireplace that takes the moisture out of the air. The hiking is exceptional here! I've never experienced such beautiful hikes in my lifetime. Location is a bit far from groceries and dining out but Inverarary is a reasonable 45 min drive offering site seeing, shopping and dining. Love this area because it is away from it all.
