Great location, structure needs some love, not what was expected given the price during off season

Really enjoyed the location. Quiet, far enough from busy but close enough to take a trip over. Great walking paths over the bridge and sunsets were beautiful. Feel like the price did not meet the services provided. Not at all what we expected given the price during the off season. Cabin and furniture much older than expected. Multiple problems operating TVs, internet was weak and constantly disconnecting. TV program access was routed through Internet so it took a long time to load our personal membership profiles so that we could watch something. Ladybug population boom (on the inside), lots needing to be repaired windows and door thresholds, 3 of 4 kitchen chairs the legs were not staying connected dangerous to sit in. Sunroom chairs and recliner very worn. Porch and stairs to lake needs boards replaced, last set of stairs to the water’s edge are not safe for kids or older adults, no handrails. No dishwasher even though directions indicate the dishwasher must be turned on before departure. Loose dogs from neighborhood frequent the yard and porch, not on a leash. Fireplace in living room but not allowed to use it. Dishes had cracks and not enough silverware, bring your own scissors, had to wash by hand immediately to have enough for each meal. There were extra beds, not sure if heat was available in those areas though. Entire closet in second upstairs bedroom was blocked by the headboard of the bed.

Real deal log cabin

This cabin is very cool. THe view on the water was amazing for sunsets. My family of 6 played cards and appreciated the games there. Amenities are nice. Coffee maker and Keurig both available. We came at a time (October) when many of the restaurants and places seemed to close down because this is a lake town, so restaurants were scarce and had shorter hours, but we found the Burger Barn (delicious) on the lake across the bridge into the LBL, and the next night we drove about 30 min up to Grand Rivers, which had putt putt golf, shops and some places to eat. We also used the fitness center that is a 5 min drive and played pickle ball and tennis. Could have swam and used some weight machines, but chose not to. They were very nice and accomodating at the fitness center once they discovered we were guests here.

Good but could have been better

Upon check-in things appeared to be good. Love the cabin, location, great view of the water, quite neighborhood, decks to walk to the water, beautiful mature trees all the things you would expected. After checking in we noticed dust, cobwebs, no dishwasher (we were under the impression that there was one), or dish liquid, very few towels and only 6 washcloths (4 of them were marked for makeup) this was for 7 people for a 5 night stay. They did bring more washcloths and we still had to wash them and buy landry detergent as well as dish liquid and toilet paper. Two of the tvs were not working and they had to replace them, there was only maybe 6 hangers to hang cloths, (some were the thin plastics ones that come with cloths that you throw away) The beds were noisy, and seem to be very old, no one slept well. The shower up stair was way to small for any one over 6' and lastly the cabin smelled and is not good for anyone with allergies or sinus. All and all even with the problems, if there were a few changes we would stay in the cabin again it was a beautiful location.

Awesome Getaway

Lucas the property owner was very accommodating. I made the reservation and needed to make changes prior to arrival. He was very prompt and accommodating. Even let us check in a little early. We had an issue with WiFi and called him. He showed up within 5 minutes and reset it. The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was rustic....which we loved!!! It was clean, very spacious, plenty of outdoor seating for gathering and allowing children to play. We also rented a pontoon from Lucas for the grandchildren to enjoy. Hands down the best vacation ever. We loved everything about it!

Vacation 2024

We recently stayed at a cabin located at 245 Arrowhead Trail, Cadiz, KY. Overall, it was a nice and comfortable place to spend our vacation. The cabin is nestled in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature, and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, and we particularly enjoyed the cozy living room and fully-equipped kitchen. The outdoor deck was a great spot to enjoy our morning coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery. However, we did encounter a couple of maintenance issues during our stay. During a heavy rainstorm, we noticed a leak in the upstairs bedroom to the left of the stairs. There was a noticeable leak by the head of the bed, as well as another one right in front of the TV. This was a bit inconvenient, especially since it made us worry about potential water damage. Despite these issues, we appreciated the cabin's charm and comfort. If these maintenance problems are addressed, it would make for an even better stay. We recommend this cabin for its beautiful location and cozy atmosphere but advise potential guests to check if these issues have been resolved.

Girl’s Outing

We had the best time for a two night, three day visit at the cabin. It was a wonderful time for three high school classmates. We loved the accommodations, the views and how clean everything was. We talked, we laughed and we even shared a few tears. Thank you for our first outing and we hope to do it again.

Great experience

Me, my husband, my cousin and her husband stayed in this beautiful cabin looked like they painted the outside so doesnt look like the picture but it had a beautiful view and very quiet place so if u want quiet that is your place it was a great place for my dads 50th birthday party and the host was very nice too because we needed more parking

Great view

The deck is beautiful. The view is very nice. Although the property is located in a neighborhood, there is a feeling of seclusion on the deck. The television was very easy to use. The owner recommended a pizza from the Sinclair gas station, and it was surprisingly excellent.

Beautiful View close to LBL

Very close to turkey bay and elk and bison prairie, house is on the road right off the bridge to get to LBL, beautiful lake views, we had a blast fishing and off roaring at LBL. Exactly what our family needed for fall break! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful Spot!

This is an amazing property. The view is breathtaking. Everyone in my family reads to include my 10 year old and the sun room was a perfect spot for it when days got hot allowing perfect view of the water. The bridge is in sight of the property as well which a treat at night when it is lit up. We fished every morning off the bank of the property which was a perfect situation for quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

My 11 year old son and friends and family all loved the vacation and enjoyed the lake access. Along with the amazing property owner’ amazing communication. I couldn’t of asked for a better time for enjoying the lake and the Lake Barkley marina service was amazing.

Great Place to Get Away and Stay

The property is outstanding. Quiet, Peaceful, and have complete access to all that Land Between the Lakes has to offer, just a short 10 minutes drive down the road. Cabin has everything my family needed. WIFI for the teen, a TV for the 9yr old, an all season room with plenty of space for board games and reading in case it rains. Enough beds to sleep 8 or 9 comfortably. And, a huge deck that goes down to the shoreline, probably got the most use during our stay. We fished off the shore mornings and evenings and the kids swam most of the days away. We did rent a pontoon with a slide, from the same owners, which was outstanding and very convenient. The boat rental is literally at the end of the cul-de-sac, 3 or 4 houses down. There were ZERO webs or spiders found inside the Cabin. Thought I should let everyone know seeing a prevous reviewer cried about spider webs on a deck, in the woods, by a lake... who would have thought? We live a short 2 hr drive from the LBL area and will DEFINITELY be renting here again for holiday weekends and/or Turkey Bay OHV area trips. Great family stay

The views were great and the house had most everything needed for cooking and sleeping for a long weekend. We came for a family vacation and really enjoyed the board games provided, especially jenga! Would have liked to know the water access was very steep as I have a young child (a photo would have been helpful) and the stairs are a bit dingy but the house has a lot of character and is very charming. Updates to the mattresses would make a world of difference, the queens were unfortunately uncomfortable. The gym access was stated to be picked up at a different location and when asked for was not provided by the attendant- it was a bit awkward, passes in the binder would have been appreciated. Thank you to our host for having us and being open with communication!

Relaxation Destination

We stayed in this cabin for my son and my birthday that is in the same weekend (memorial weekend) The mason jar lights add so much character to this place. It was spacious with breathtaking views and offered many extra fun touches with wooden tables cut from trees, corrugated barn metal in the upstairs bath and the log steps leading to the second story. My sons favorite place to be was the sunroom off the family room he loved being able to look around outside and play with his trucks and spiderman in an environment where we didn’t have to worry about breaking many things. We enjoyed our stay, the owner was very friendly and accommodating

Winter Weekend Getaway

We had a nice time this weekend. Location was great, cabin is roomy with owner providing many things we needed for our stay. We did get a very good rate for this time of the year. Suggestions we would make are: -living room area is dark, needs overhead lighting(looks like a fixture was there at one point) -mattresses and sectional need to be updated as my family didn't sleep well because mattresses, sectional weren't supportive -door knobs need to be replaced on some doors as it's hard to tell if doors are locked or not -Wifi isn't the greatest and tv needs to be replaced

Fantastic cabin and location!

We loved our stay at this wonderful, quaint cabin. So close to the Land Between the Lakes area where we went off roading, shooting, swimming, and saw elk and bison. We loved the area and want to come back in the Summer to enjoy all the warm weather activities! Lucas was great to work with!! Fantastic trip!
