"We were at Shell Villa for 9 days with some friends and our infant son. The highlight of this property is its location and its views! Every day you get greeted with some amazing views of either Montserrat or the many sailboats that cruise through. "Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. Sleeping under netting in the beautiful antique bed and listening to the birds and frogs gave us a true taste of island life. Sarah shared stories from her many years on Antigua and provided many recommendations for our stay. We loved setting out each day to explore the island then returning to our little piece of paradise...

"The location requires a car, 4x4 ideally, but once you find it it’s a wonderful peaceful place with all the amenities you need. There was even a bottle of wine and some food to see us through the first night. The cabin is ideal for people that want out of the hustle and bustle and want to relax in nature, with the dogs, chickens and birds making a regular appearance. Highly recommend a visit!"

"With less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to the local grocery store the location of this villa was fantastic. The lush plants and garden are what really separate this villa from the others nearby as you feel totally secluded and honestly with the gigantic pool, enormous deck and all of the seating areas on the deck it made it hard for our family to actually leave the villa!"

"My husband and I were greeted with such warmth and friendliness by Maria. We had a little car incident and Maria went over and above the score to help us. The place was comfortable and charming and just a few steps from a little private beach. I would recommend a car for getting around and exploring. Even her staff was as kind and charming as could be. "This was a super well run holiday property, with great communication throughout and the property itself was extremely well kitted out and looked after. Our family had great fun using the new air fryer and a big thanks for getting in a smoothie blender. We do like to cook and found the kitchen really well provided for. Definitely recommend using the pre shopping service as its extremely relaxing to arrive without having to navigate the supermarket after a long flight! The views from the apartment...

"The property was amazing, although sort of off the beaten path…but that’s not even a problem with having a driver available anytime. The house was spectacular and Lou (owner) was always a call away, willing to help, pick up groceries, drinks, whatever. The house is probably better than the pictures online. And the pool was a great size! Would recommend The Carib House, and Lou, to anyone."

"Communication with management was easy and we were greeted when we arrived and given a tour including how to work the gate to the property, appliances, AC units and everything in between. The photos online do not do this property justice, it is gorgeous! The large living area opens with sliding glass doors on two sides on the balcony with seating and dining area, pool and view of Jolly Harbor. "A few good eateries within 5 minutes walk. We had issues with wifi which were server related but frustrating and most inconvenient Property very secure with entry in gate with padlock and double keyed locks on front and back doors. To secure car you must alert property caretaker who will open secured gate via remote from her home. A/c worked well and there is a dorm sized fridge, washer on site.
