Ruffled feathers:This was the perfect spot for us. We were very close to the Wildlife Refuge makinging easy for travel to our hiking spots.The best part is that it is a detached cabin away from nearly all other guests which is Awesome for our doggos. There is plenty of room for them to explore in the grass. But beware there are lots of cockleburs for paws to step on.The ruffled feathers is a studio cabin with a king bed. Very clean and realtively new. All linens provided. Bed was comfy (medium firm to slightly soft depennding on your scale) with plenty of room to walk around all sides.Water pressure was great and the water tastes good too. If they are on a well, you couldn't tell.Shower is a walkin and large. Appliances include a microwave, large dorm-style fridge, and a kuerig-style coffee maker.We were very comfortable here and so grateful for a nice, cozy place that is dog friendly!

Nice very clean and cozy cabin just about 5 minutes from my daughter. Had an excellent week vacation here would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway close to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refugee.

Everything was Great! The location was perfect for getting to the Refuge and Medicine Park. The property was awesome. Cute and quirky in a Great way. The room accommodations were comfortable, clean and cozy. The property had so many places to enjoy the outdoors. Even an old truck with cots in the flatbed to star gaze. Will definitely stay again when traveling to OK! Loved it.

This was a delightful overnight stay for our 43rd anniversary while we explored the area. Our English Cream Retriever accompanied us for her very first road trip! The cabin was clean, well equipped, and the yard was perfect for walking the dog. Thank you for a memorable stay and for making our furry child feel welcome also!

Close to Wichita Mountains

We stayed here the night before riding the Tour de Meers. We were looking for a place close to Meers at the last minute so this place worked well for our needs, although we had a little problem figuring out which cabin was the one we reserved. It would be nice if the signs were easier to see. My husband thought the bed was too firm but I thought it was ok. It was a little warm for us at night since we couldn’t reduce the air conditioning to our usual temperature. We had friendly neighbors in the cabin next door so that was nice.

Took my husband up to Mt Scott for his birthday...Lazy Buffalo was the perfect spot for an overnight getaway. Our Archie Boy..the boxer...loved it too. Nice pet friendly location.

Great location and great little cabin!

Our stay was for 3 nights at Christmas. The location in Cache is very nice and easy to get to. The property is clean and uniquely decorated. The cabin is a bit more private since it is located in the back of the property. Cabin was nicely decorated and had pretty much everything we needed. It was clean and the furniture and bed were comfortable. This is a great base camp location for exploring the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Reserve area. Not far from Lawton and Medicine Park either. The host was helpful and provided good communication with us. We will definitely return again for another stay!

It was a beautiful property with swings and fire pits on site. It was about four mile from a National Park with bison and elk! I wish we had more time to enjoy everything.

Family Friendly

My kids are 4 & 9. We absolutely loved our stay! All the cabins are themed different! We stayed in ruffled feathers! Dog friendly! Comfortable bed! And everything was clean! Lots of activities on site to keep the kids busy while adults can relax, and enjoy the view! We will definitely be back!
