"Clean room , helpful staff"

"Exceptional service, helpful and resourceful staffs, and clean room. Due to the typhoon, our tour was cancelled and we really couldn’t do much. Hotel staffs set up karaoke and pool table for us, to keep us busy. They claimed the tree and provided fresh coconuts for us. They were engaging, professional and help us coordinated transportation and activities outside the hotel. Staffs are also very honest. It is a little secluded which was excellent for us. The grounds are amazing and well maintained. Our room was squeaky clean. The only two items I wished they had were a TV and consistent hot water. "This place was great. We enjoyed the staff, they were so helpful with everything. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The place is a little far but once you get there it’s greatly appreciated. It sits right on the ocean and the view is spectacular!!! They rent motorbikes so it’s easy to get around and visit waterfalls. The rooms are a great size and very clean. I recommend this place to any traveller!"

"Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating. I would return to Bohol just to stay...
