I am from the United States and booked this property at the last minute. It was peak season, when Western-style hotels were extremely expensive and budget local options weren’t appealing. This property ended up being a great middle ground.The location is very convenient (you’ll still want a car) and felt extremely safe. The views from the property are stunning. Any photos you take on the property will look incredible (trust me!). The host was always responsive and easy to reach. The room had all the basics you’d expect: a new refrigerator, bathroom, closet, etc. I used the pool and had no complaints.There were a few minor drawbacks. I had to deal with hundreds of ants over the course of my stay, likely because of the lush vegetation right outside. The property is also a bit dated. That wasn’t a deal-breaker for me, but the mattresses could really use replacing, and the TV is an old CRT model, so I didn’t end up using it.Overall, your experience will really depend on your expectations. If you’re looking for a modern, hotel-style stay, this may not be it. But if you’re okay with an older property and value safety, location, and great views, this place offers decent value, especially during high season.
