Great Location and Amenities

The property was clean, spacious, and included everything we needed during our stay. Location is excellent with the pools and beach steps away which were never crowded. The grounds are perfectly maintained; beach area is pristine. We enjoyed the room service and proximity of Coco Loco as well. The Palms concierge was responsive and attentive throughout our stay.

Good vibes, chill spot, good home base

Really enjoyed this property. chill beach, not super long but good for walks; it's remote in the sense of being chill but plenty of really good restaurants locally; definitely get the golf cart if you don't have a car. The concierge staff are first rate in terms of texting and helping with any requests and recommendations. Anthony the pool bartender is great, cranks out the smoothies for the kids and cocktails for us - place embodies the pura vida spirity. Condo had all the amenities needed, beautiful king size master with walk out balcony - deck. My only critique is that people "save" oceanside chairs by going out in the morning putting stuff on them whether or not they are using them. and then one time, someone threw my kids stuff off the chair and said "we have been here all day" - so the chair situation is tedious at times but the grounds guys will help you find a spot - I would just say general guest etiquette around it could be better.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this clean, well-equipped villa on Playa Flamingo. Location was perfect and grounds were impeccable with an infinity pool just feet from the pristine beach. Perfect winter getaway!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carlos's villa, Just beautiful and the kitchen equipped with everything!! Best part was walking out onto the beautiful lawn to pools and beach...right there! Very uncrowded both pool and beach. Massages on beach amazing. We will definitely come back and bring our daughters next time!!

Perfection at The Palms

The Palms is absolutely one of the nicest, most relaxing, and beautiful beach properties. The condo we stayed in was perfect for our family of 5. Fully stocked with anything you would need and beautifully decorated. The owner was fantastic to work with and all the staff here at The Palms are wonderful. We loved the restaurants nearby and highly recommend booking a sunset cruise with Manta Ray while you are here. Perfect week here in Costa Rica!

BEAUTIFUL VILLA ON A FANTASTIC BEACH

We had a great time at Carlos' villa. It has all the comforts of home and is loving taken care of by the owner Carlos and The Palms staff. What I really loved was the fact that even though we were there over one of the busiest weeks of the year, we never felt we were smashed into a crowded resort. We had no problems finding lounge chairs. At other resorts, we would get up early and have to stake out a spot. That was not necessary here. There was enough room to spread out and play our multiple beach and pool games. We could even play frisbee without feeling we would hit or run into someone. We took advantage of filling out the pre arrival form. It was great to have drinks and food there upon our arrival. The woman who does the shopping for you was our favorite among the staff. Having boogie boards and paddle boards for free use was a bonus. The waves were a blast! We enjoyed the beautiful beach and amazing pool so much that nobody wanted to leave and go outside of the resort. I regret a little that we didn't do one more excursion...but we felt so relaxed and at home at The Palms that is was hard to leave. If you like to play tennis there is actually a decent tennis court at a resort down the beach. For a small fee you can hit a few balls in the early morning or early evening shade. Thanks for letting us stay at your place Carlos! The kids enjoyed your chocolate. They had so much fun taste testing the treats you left for us. Also, thanks for being so helpful and patient answering my millions of questions. Stay here, you will love it!!!

An absolute Gem

Staying at The Palms has been our best family vacation yet. The property is a perfect balance of casual and relaxed with 5 star amenities. The staff are all fantastic. The on-site food is great. The villas are beautiful and 30 seconds from the beach. Also, the rental dealings with Carlos were great. We will return and highly recommend Casa Chocolate at The Palms!

Amazing stay at Casa Chocolate at the Palms!

We would highly recommend Casa Chocolate Villa #22 at the Palms. The villa is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The staff at the Palms are extremely friendly and very accommodating. The property felt very safe and was maticulously maintained. The beach is just steps away and gorgeous. The Palms is at the southern end of Playa Flamingo Beach which is about a mile long and very quiet. It’s great for walking, running, or playing in the waves. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance, which is nice if you just want to stay near the villa and relax. We definitely hope to go back!

I can honestly say this is the best beach property I've ever stayed at. The proximity to the private beach, the 5-star service from the staff and the beautiful home made this an exceptional vacation. If you are looking for a big resort pool with obnoxious people yelling at their kids, loud music, vendors on the beach and airplanes flying above with banners, stay away. This is the complete opposite. The beach is perfect, it's quiet, and the sunsets are amazing. Carlos was great to deal with and I highly recommend this rental.

Our family loved the Palms!

Hi Carlos, Although our family travels a fair amount, I have never taken the time to give a review. The unit and the whole place exceeded our expectations. Not only was it beautiful and comfortable, but we did not realize there would be a staff that would bring amazing food and drinks to the pool or beach or the unit. Even more, all of the people were genuinely warm and made us feel like family while we were there (my wife adored Leo). Our kids LOVED the pools (ages 13, 11, and 7) and the paddle boards, boogie boards, etc. Lastly, as you know we came in on a red eye and had not slept all night, and you arranged for us to stay in another unit so we could sleep until your unit was available later that day. You are a great host (we loved the Danta Chocolate). I'm sorry I did not get a chance to meet you the morning of our arrival. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. Relax, Restore and Explore...

Our family of four just returned from a wonderfully relaxing stay at Casa Chocolate at The Palms. What a well-appointed and beautiful condo that is steps from two amazing pools (including a gorgeous infinity pool) and the most beautiful beach! We lacked nothing. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of. Staying here is like combining the best of a resort hotel, with the privacy and convenience of a luxury condo. We sent a grocery list ahead of our arrival and found our kitchen stocked with all the food and beverages we had asked for, as well as some delicious coffee and chocolates, compliments of our owner. ...Room service each day and a kind staff at the pool bar to bring lunch to your porch or your lounge chair on the beach/at the pool. ...An amazing masseuse on property waiting to help you unwind and relax while listening to the waves crash onto the shore. ...Sunsets that are unforgettable. It's a really special and unique place, tucked away in a gorgeous cove. It's hard to tell if you are in Costa Rica, or Hawaii...it's just THAT beautiful. Also, our daughter left her most treasured stuffed animal at the Villa, and we did not discover it until we had flown back to the USA. She was devastated. But, our friends at The Palms went out of their way to locate "Lambie" and ensure she was safely mailed and returned to our daughter with the utmost care. They even followed up with a call to check on everyone. You simply cannot beat that kind of service...on top of view, amenities, food and accommodations. It made for a truly unforgettable experience that doesn't disappoint.
