Do not sleep on renting this place, it is amazing. Literally steps from the ocean which was so convenient if you forgot something in the villa. The pool gentlemen always remembered our names and where we liked to sit. Always greeting you with a smile and good morning. The sunsets were fabulous. The beach massages were also lovely. We ate at cocoloco the first night and were glad to have something close. We never visited for breakfast but did go to other places suggested by the host. Having the concierge was also nice and stress free. We went ziplining and rented jet ski's through them. The villa has everything you need and is fully stocked. The loft is an added bonus if you have children. We cannot wait to return!

Paradise! Can’t beat the location with beach access. My kids loved boogie boarding in the waves. Pool is awesome as well. Grounds very well maintained.Condo had every amenity you could think of. Very clean and beautiful. Will be back for sure!It’s our favorite vacation place!

We are a family of 4, kids ages 10 and 12, and our stay at The Palms was incredible. The unit itself is beautiful - clean, so comfortable and spacious, and had everything we could have needed. It is without a doubt the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. And The Palms property itself is amazing, the pool and beach are literally steps from the patio. We did jet skiing, a sunset cruise, and surfing lessons, all of which the concierge booked for us. The concierge also helped us rent a golf cart for the week which I was on the fence about initially but was so glad we had it (we did not rent a car). We took it to the grocery store, marina for dinner (we loved Surf Box), in town for ice cream and the kids loved riding around in it. Everyone at The Palms (and all of Playa Flamingo), from the concierge to the security guys (Jose and Felix are the best!) are so kind and helpful. And the hosts, Mike and Julia, were incredibly friendly and responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and easy. Can't say enough good things, we will definitely be back! (and if you are wanting to do a tour, we HIGHLY recommend Verny with Costa Rica Family Tours, we had the best time going with him to La Leona waterfall)

Villa 29 is amazing! Everything is in fantastic shape and super clean. Literally steps from the beach. Gorgeous sunsets every day. Mike was so helpful with a great welcome guide full of tips. The Palms staff are top notch and have thought of everything. Highly recommend renting a golf cart, getting a beachside massage, and doing some tours with Dennis and his team. La Leona is a must for adventure seekers. We can’t wait to return to Villa 29. An unforgettable experience!!!

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay at The Palms. The hospitality of the owners and staff at the resort was amazing. The property is beautiful and steps to the beach. The condo was beautifully decorated and had a lot of amenities to cook and plenty of beds for our 3 kids and family. The beach massages were an added plus and made our trip relaxing. The daily cleaning services were also a nice touch. We would highly recommend this place if staying in Playa Flamingo.

Family Trip

We had a wonderful experience with The Palms. Michael was quick to respond whenever I had a question, and the Welcome Guide that he shared after we booked was extremely helpful. When we arrived, the staff at The Palms welcomed us, gave a brief introduction to the property, answered questions and made us feel welcome. We had ordered some groceries through the concierge ahead of our visit and everything was there for us when we arrived. The unit and the property were both better than the pictures showed. We are a family of four, with 2 adult children and we had plenty of space. The beach was beautiful and though public, never very busy by the property. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and drinks from the pool side bar. We were able to walk to a small grocery store and to restaurants with no problem. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return someday!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This villa was perfect for two couples. It had everything we needed and the concierge team of The Palms was excellent. They made several reservations for us and checked in to see if we needed anything. All the staff was very attentive. The pool and beach were only steps from the back glass doors. Would definitely rent this villa again if we make it back to Playa Flamingo or the area.

From the time we booked, the communication from the owners and property concierge was amazing! The property and beach were absolutely beautiful. The beach was public but it felt completely private. It had everything we could want! It is now our goal to return!

Cannot say much more than has already been said. Wonderful stay, wonderful place, will not disappoint in any way. Mike and Julia are a pleasure to deal with and their place is better than the pictures which is rare these days. Amazing getaway

Our experience at Palms Villa 29 was exceptional! Wonderful condo, great concierge service, excellent amenities like gym, on site massages, pool bartender. Owners were also very responsive and responsible when we accidentally locked the safe without a code. We cannot wait to go back!

Amazing

Have to start off with the communication prior to the stay - Mike and Julia and then the concierge team at the palms were amazing to deal with. Our first time in Costa Rica so we had lots of questions and they were a pleasure to deal with - super attentive and offered lots of great suggestions on things to do etc. The location, we travel quite a bit and the beach here is one of the best we have ever been on. We swam and lounged every day to what was 10 days of perfect weather. The excursions booked by the concierge team did not disappoint - horseback riding on the beach, deep sea fishing and zip lines - the entire family had an amazing time. The villa was the best part of the trip - steps to the beach - fully appointed with gorgeous views. We wished we could have stayed even one more day Cannot wait to return if we are lucky enough.

Great Place - Right on the Beach

First family trip to Costa Rica and we wanted to stay at a "nice place on the beach". I did a lot of research and can tell you this is it. This place is literally a 50 foot walk out the patio door to a fabulous very large beach area. Also has a private pool right beside it as well. The best part it wasn't crowded - it felt like you had the place to like to your own with just a few others. The condo itself is very nice and clean and has everything you would want for amenities. It is in a gated community with a large amount of staff, cleaning, and a 24 concierge and you simply message with anything you want--recommendations or restaurant reservations. Staff was great - pastry/bread truck came in one morning! It's part of a larger condo complex and there were many other US/CAD families there vacationing with kids as well. We enjoyed meeting and talking with them. We have traveled a lot as family and we would definitely book this again.

Playa Flamingo - A Fantastic Family Getaway

My family and I enjoyed a beautiful week-long stay at the Palms Villa 29. The welcoming atmosphere and incredible views were second to none. From waking up to gentle ocean sounds and fresh Costa Rican coffee, to returning each day to a peaceful, climate controlled home, the villa met our needs and surpassed our expectations at every turn. Our time at Playa Flamingo was greatly enhanced by the exceptional staff; each member courteous and collected, while ready at a moment’s notice to improve our stay in any way possible. We’ll certainly be coming here in the near future.

An amazing vacation!

It was even better than the pictures! The place was immaculate and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. There was four of us and we had plenty of room. The decor is great and modern and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was amazing and the beach was steps away. We got to watch amazing sunsets from the backyard. The gym made you want to workout with the spectacular view. The condo provided kayaks and other water activities, which my son enjoyed. We can’t wait to return.

Could not be better

This is the place to stay in Flamingo. Everything is perfect from location to amenities. The property itself is gorgeous and ocean front with a pool and private bar. There is a full kitchen, smart TV, excellent wifi, and helpful concierge. There is daily housekeeping as well. We booked everything through the concierge who is available 24/7 and it could not have been simpler. Whether you're traveling as a couple or a family, this is definitely the spot.
