Great property, but the management is lacking
This property lives up to the pictures in the listing and the quality and cleanliness on the inside was amazing. The resort is beautiful, well kept and the resort staff were amazing during our stay with 5 star service. The biggest let down was the management company, Cabo Rentals by Jane. They were unorganized and just got off to a bad start when we booked our stay one night and booked our non-refundable flights to send us an email the next day saying they were cancelling our reservation because we didn’t book the correct amount of days that they require for this property. I had to threaten Jane with reviews and action through VRBO and then she finally reached out to the owner to get it approved. If you are not booking 5 nights here, they will cancel your reservation on you! One of the bigger let downs was the concierge. He sent us activities, gave us pricing, was there when we arrived and then we tipped him and he was gone. He gets no deals on excursions. His pricing was much higher than Big Brothers company on the beach for the same excursions. We tipped the Cabo Rentals by Jane concierge on day 1 and he never showed back up. Go down to the beach and ask for Gavin! He has been there 7 years and made the trip worth it with anything we needed. Also, do not let Cabo Rentals by Jane buy groceries for you. There is a Walmart 3 miles away that is a 5 dollar taxi ride and go buy your groceries. We got a bill for $550 for groceries that included us paying $50 for 2 galllons of milk, $12 for a loaf of bread and $12 for 1 package of Nutter Butters. The property is the only reason this place gets 3 stars.
