Great Place and Location

This place is very clean and in a great location to everything. The entire resort was very nice, including the Adults Only resort at the beach we got to use. Just a couple issues with check in because the cleaning crew forgot to unlock the main door lock. We had to contact the property manager for them to unlock the door. Once we got the hang of it, we were good.There should be instructions for the washer/dryer combo. We could never figure out how to get it to just dry the clothes w/o washing them first.The furniture in the living room is not comfortable. We ended up taking the chairs from the master bedroom into the living room so we could watch television when we were in the condo. They had Netflix, which was nice. The pillows were incredibly soft too. Wish there was a combination of soft and firm pillows. After the 2nd night, I put a pillowcase on one of the decorative pillows to sleep.The kitchen was great. We had everything we needed to make breakfasts and some dinners while we were there. And having 3 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms was awesome. And the outdoor covered courtyard was awesome. We used this area a lot. It was too bad we couldn't BBQ because only owners can BBQ. We usually like to grill steaks or seafood on vacation. Not a big deal but wish we had known that.Having the pool right outside the front door was incredibly convenient. We could just pop back into the condo to refresh a drink or use the bathroom.We would stay again.

Wonderful, spacious condo in a beautiful area

Our stay was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The place was inviting, peaceful, spacious, clean and comfortable. But more importantly, the property manager and concierge were super accessible, helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend!

Quiet community in Quivira

We stayed at this property the first week of March 2025 and found this to be a very quiet, clean and friendly community. The property is exactly as pictured with nice large rooms and a fantastic kitchen. Having the pool right out your front door was fantastic however the pool was very cold and the hot tub was warm at best.We experienced a minor glitch with the check-in process as it seemed we had been provided conflicting information but we quickly figured it out. We never met the property manager or anyone from the rental company however they provided a wonderful app that had lots of information. The only thing lacking was better instructions on how to book a cab. Given there are three security gates they must pass through it was very confusing and difficult to get transportation. If we return we will rent a golf cart to get around Quivira, and walk out to the first gate to meet a cab or ride share (just wish there were sidewalks to the gate). Shout out to Elvis at Mavila security gate! He was friendly, helpful and fantastically patient with all our questions. We also loved the access to visit the resorts within Quivira and quickly fell in love with 'The Market' at Sunset. It was also a nice change to visit the very busy pools at Sunset a couple of days.Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely visit again. (In fact, I've already shared the property information with friends and family ;)

Too Remote, but Nice Unit

The unit was a nice design, modern, well-built, clean and ideal for a group that wants to be all on one floor.The promised shuttle service did not exist, and all the property managers would do is offer to rent a car for 100 a day or a golf cart for 55 a day. Other developments serviced by the same shuttle system would not help out. You will need a car or plan to pay 40-80 for cabs. The development is not in easy or safe walking distance to anything. I would not choose this unit again because of the location. Generally, the staff Ale and Slyvia were fairly and quickly responsiveYou will hear the upstairs neighbors walking around and their dogs barking. Very little sound proofing.

Our last stay here

We liked that it was one floor and close to pool BUT, we never used the beautiful pool because it was ice cold the whole time. In fact in the month we were there, about10 people dipped in and out. Even the kids used the hot tub. The last couple days we didn’t have a shuttle anywhere either and had to use a taxi just to go to the other places within the complex.

Beautiful Condo Resort

Resort and condo were beautiful. However, not without problems. Advertising made it appear that resort was close to the beach and wharf area. It was 17 miles to get to the resort area. It took us 45 minute wait at the gate before we were allowed in to our condo, don’t know what the problem was. Our condo had a key pad to enter, it was so scratched up, we rarely could get it open on the 5th or 6th try. Otherwise the place was beautiful. I would stay closer to the action should I go again.

Mavila Condo

Great 3 bedroom Condo. Originally we thought this was the Mavila condos down closer to the sunset beach resort. This is the Mavila condos located up the hill closer to Cabo Centro. You do need a rental car if you want to do anything outside the condo. Overall great place for the money and very clean. Pool is nice and is right out the door steps away. Ali was awesome and will accommodate any requests you may have during your stay!!

Great place for a family

This was a great place for our family of four to stay for our Spring Break trip. Each of our teens had their own bedroom and bathroom, the place was clean, and had everything we needed. We wanted to enjoy the Pueblo Bonito resort amenities, and the condo was a little further away from the Sunset Beach resort than we realized, but the management company arranged for us to rent a golf cart that we used to easily get around. This is a great spot for enjoying a quiet space after spending the day at the busy resort!

Clean and quiet

Overall location and place was great. My kids used shuttle from PB Rose to PB sunset to mavila had to wait long time. We wanted to use BBQ but found out after checking in only for residents and will charge $50. It was ridiculous. The two bedrooms tv remote was not working so we asked to fix it but still no work.

5 stars for our weekend. The place was nice and big and had everything we needed. Step right out the door to the quiet pool and beautiful community. Lots of options in the quivira community, and did an easy evening trip in the city. Would definitely come back again ~

Lovely Condo in Mavila- Nice family spot!

Beautiful condo! Need to have own transportation to travel everywhere in Pueblo Bonito.. We rented a golf cart thru Cabo Golf Cars - good weekly rate. Only issue was BBQ was not available to use as per owner - However, many other renters we communicated with were able to freely use the BBQ-

Mostly positive

My husband, myself and teen daughter stayed here for 1 week during Spring Break 2022 (March 19-26). I would say this was mostly a positive experience. The condo is huge (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, massive kitchen) and it is 10 steps from the unheated pool. The hot tub can be turned on when requested, and you have to "book" the use of the outdoor community bbq. The unheated pool was very very quiet the entire week. The kitchen is "fair" re cooking equipment and could use a bit more equipment. There is a washing machine, and a drying rack. The enclosed sun room is nice to enjoy morning coffee in. Coffee maker is there. The big disadvantage of this condo is that you can here everything from the condo above - footsteps, folks using the bathroom, going pee, or unfortunately for us the honeymoon couple:(. I contacted the property management company that this condo is managed through and asked for us to move somewhere else, but thankfully the couple left. Another family moved into the condo, and they were much better but you need to know the daily living noise issue. If no one is staying in the condo above, it would be been perfect. We were out and about most days so it was just the late evenings/mornings that the noise was problematic. It is how these condos are built. All stone and no insultation. A big bonus of staying here is that you can use the entire PB complex...which is about 5-6 different hotel complexes within the "walls" of the compound. There is a pool at the Sunset complex that is the busy/happening place - swim up bar, water exercise classes, beach volleyball games, etc that our teen daughter enjoyed! There is pool towel service, and you can order food/drinks there, and just pay with your credit card. Also the "adult only" complex is beautiful and we enjoyed sunsets here. Finding the Mavilla condo was very difficult initally at night - there is no map within the complex and we were lost for 1 hour. I would HIGHLY recommend downloading Google Map app on your phone, and finding Mavilla complex before you arrive. The address isn't helpful. We had a car which you would need if staying here - it is at the FAR end of the complex and too far to walk to the other complexes. Plus a car allows you to discover the Baja coast nicely, get groceries, etc. Overall, I would recommend this condo if you are looking for a very quiet place through the day, but be aware of the noise above. The property mgmt company (Ana) was excellent to deal with.

Quiet and beautiful

The condo is a perfect setting for a quiet vacation. It is a short 10 minutes from the city center. A plus is that we had access to the Pueblo Bonito resorts. It was nice to visit different beaches via Pueblo Bonito. The condo itself had everything we needed. The single unit washer and dryer was a bit confusing since it is in Spanish. I downloaded the LG app and that worked. Any problems were immediately addressed and everyone was very helpful.
