It Couldve Been Better

The house is beautiful and very, very, spacious, but be prepared to find floors that are not very clean and bathroom light fixtures missing or without lightbulbs,a front door that didn't lock and garage door remotes without batteries. That said, the house is located very near all the major beaches and best restaurants in the area. The owner was very reaponsive to my inquiries during our stay.

Great location. Quiet neighborhood and incredible views, especially from the balcony. Property is spacious and beautiful. Host is very responsive and provides all the information you need for an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately, our experience with this property was disappointing. We had no hot water for the entire duration of our stay. We reported the issue to the host early on and were told the system relied on solar panels, which should have been working given the consistently sunny weather. Despite this, the issue was never resolved, and we were left without hot water the entire time.In addition, the property was not clean upon arrival and is in need of a deep, thorough cleaning. Several lightbulbs were out, and many of the bathrooms were outdated, with peeling paint and general wear and tear. The condition of the home did not match what was shown in the listing photos, which gave the impression of a much more updated and well-maintained space.To make matters worse, after our initial communication, the host stopped responding altogether. I reached out again to request a discount due to the inconvenience, and that message also went unanswered.Overall, this stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing or by basic hospitality standards. I would advise future guests to clarify the condition of the property and confirm basic amenities before booking.

Great Place for our Large Family

This house was a great choice to house us and our extended family on our trip to PR. There was as a gorgeous view, lots of beds, and AC in every room.The kitchen was not well stocked with cooking utensils, so don’t expect to be able to cook easily for a big group. There’s 1 pan, 1 pot, and a very small sheet pan to go in the oven. Minor inconvenience… but honestly, we like to eat out in PR anyways because the restaurants are so amazing, so it was fine. But just a heads up if you prefer to cook at home when on vacay to save money. Overall great place, we’d stay here again for sure.

Family Spring Break

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space and near the beach. Steep stairs a concern for elderly in-laws. Some maintenance needs raised to be addressed.

Great space for families

This is a very cool home that is close to the beach and several small restaurants and bakeries. I would say the beach is not exactly walkable, but you can see the water from the house. Beautiful sunrises and cozy beds. The host was very attentive to any problems. We loved waking up and going to sleep to the sounds of the coqui frogs . Kids loved the play room and had plenty of space for all 8 of our group.

Nice place for family

The property is great for a large family. It needs some TLC but overall the owner was very responsive to the issues we encountered. The generator did kick in a few times as the power was spotty. Not a great place if you are planning to work as the wifi was hit & miss but overall a great spot for large family.

Comfortable and Clean

Villa Volcy is a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay very much. The bedrooms and living spaces are very comfortable and the entire house was very clean and spacious. In a lovely neighborhood, the house was secure and conveniently located to many Cabo Rojo locations. The balcony view of the water is beautiful. The tiled floors and numerous inside stairs should be noted by potential renters, because this could be an issue for some families in terms of mobility. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious, but only minimally stocked, which provided many challenges for cooking and serving for a group. The solar shower works well on a sunny day but if you are planning a beach day and it's cloudy, don't expect a hot shower at the end of the day. Overall we would 100% enjoy spending more time at Villa Volcy. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime!

Absolutely amazing!

This house was even better than expected! The home is BY FAR the best vacation rental we’ve stayed at in Puerto Rico. And better than many of the ones I’ve stayed at in the U.S. And it had plenty of space for our family of 6 (my wife, four adult children, and me). The home is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Not too far from the “main” road, but far enough that you don’t even hear the cars driving by. And it is no more than a 10 minute drive from some of my favorite and most beautiful beaches on this side of the island. The house has A/C units in every room. Which made the home feel very comfortable. It also has a backup generator which was great. The power went out a few times and the generator worked perfectly. The house is very spacious. But all areas felt very cozy. The kitchen was stocked with all the items you’d need for your stay. And they also included some of those pantry items that may need to get you started. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this place. But the last thing I’ll say is that this home will be the first place I’ll look for the next time I come back to PR.

Nice place close to the beach

Overall, our stay was very nice. The only hiccup we had was the AC unit in the master bedroom kept leaking so we reached out a few times to get it fixed. Once, it leaked so much overnight that our house slippers that we kept near the bed got soaked and ruined. The hosts however were always quick to respond and get someone out to fix the leaks. Other than that, check in/out was easy and the property looked exactly as it does in the listing. In the end, we enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful home 5 minute drive to beach

Plenty of room for entire family with downstairs separate apartment. Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful patios, good AC, and plenty of entertainment available as well. Safe, quiet cul-de-sac

Relaxing

Generator came in handy as the area lost electricity one night. So, we stayed comfortable. A/C was great. Everyone had their space to relax on their own and come together. Kitchen was good size. Internet worked for basic (your gamer is gonna have to vacay form the games). It is a drive to and from the airport so plan accordingly. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony. Family said it was like a telanovela house lol.

Great home

The home was very clean and the backup generator a god send. Even with the power outages the generator keep us cool. The house was very clean and beautiful. Plenty of space for all 6 of us. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Super Responsive, Great Stay

This property is just as advertised. Well appointed and in a great location. Beautiful views. The host, Jeffery and his property manager, Maria were quickly responsive to an issue at the beginning of our stay. Handled it perfectly. Would recommend and would stay again.

Spectacular!

Villa Volcy is a welcoming home, one you feel is like your own. All the amenities, sensational view of the Boquerón Bay, easy access to Boquerón, safe, quiet neighborhood located on a cul de sac. The home is gated which provides sense of comfort. Each room is equipped with A/C throughout the residence. Plenty of space and teens had a blast with the game room in addition to a new basketball hoop which was well received. The homeowners left a generous welcoming gifts which we greatly appreciated. Everyone in our family had a wonderful stay. The communication was impeccable amongst the homeowner, Jeffrey and property manager, Maria. Any questions were answered quickly and throughly. We look forward to returning again soon.

Amazing home

What a delightful place to be! From the moment you walk into this gorgeous home, we felt privileged yet totally comfortable. The owner, as well as the property manager, are both very responsive. We rarely needed them though. We absolutely loved every part and room of this home-the Mediterranean porch overlooking treetops and the water being our favorite! While the street access is alittle rough, we were 5 minutes from with Buyè beach or Boquerón beach. The gated entrance and automatic garage door were added security- altho we alway felt safe. I can’t say enough about this Cabo Rojo gem!
