What a wonderful place to spend time relaxing with family. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Our children planned this trip for their parents 40th and the host even brought flowers. Beautiful place.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful retreat! John & Maria are the best hosts that I have ever experienced, extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. The cabin has everything you need. If something is missing, Maria will quickly provide! Such a relaxing and private spot, we are definitely returning next year!

Wonderful family retreat

We had a wonderful time. The house accommodated all 12 of us easily. Everything we needed was there, the house was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and riding their scooters. Maria was a a great host. They treated us like family. Highly recommend.

On the lake, minutes from sunset marina!

Great location only 5 min from sunset marina. Plenty of room & parking. Pool was nice! Met our needs, minimal privacy. Wasn’t expecting to rearrange our plans when homeowners were using the pool with their visitors but we went to the lake so not a huge deal…pet friendly which was a selling point! Lot is heavily wooded & would be great for 4x4s. Sweet Maria left a note, was in communication often, & owner was regularly in eye sight if anything was needed. House was comfy. The grill, stocked kitchen supplies, screened in porch, fire pit all very convenient.

Beautiful peaceful property

Great place to stay. Well stocked kitchen. While there is a grill, we took a grate and cooked on the firepit. The pool is beautiful. DOG FRIENDLY! Owners are even fine with letting the dogs play in the pool. If you plan to go, plan to take groceries and cook. Not much to choose from in "town". There is a grocery store for last minute things. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!!

Our yearly family vacation brought us to this little bit of paradise on Dale Hollow Lake. It felt like we were living in the trees!! John and Maria accommodated all our needs. The pool was a great place to hang out. Kids were treated to popsicles and special gifts chosen especially for them. We also enjoyed getting to know John and Maria and are hopeful that our paths will cross again.

Great house in a wonder location!

We loved this house and pool. It was super clean and comfortable, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. We had a fantastic time and would love to visit again. We brought our pontoon and the marina was so close and convenient. The only downside was the kids developed rashes from the pool, we think maybe the levels of chemicals were a little too high. We were also accused of taking 2 pillows from the house which really upset our families.

Freedom Point- the best rental on Dale Hollow!

We immediately fell in love with Freedom Point! We took our boat, jet skis, and utv. There was so much parking space for all of them and for all of our cars and trucks! There were 7 of us who stayed all week, and others who came for a couple of days at a time. There was so much sleeping space in this house, no one was without a bed and couples didn’t have to share.. lol. The openness of the inside made playing games and family time a blast! This was, by far, the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. The previous reviews are definitely not accurate for 2023. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Maria went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and then some. Thanks for all the goodies!! The pool is A-MAZING! Our little had so much fun swimming! (No need to bring a float) We loved the back (screened in) porch area as well for having morning coffee and another place for our little to run and play safely within our sight. It is located very close to Sunset Marina (we happened to be there during the fire at Sunset, very sad) which made it easy to launch and pull out our boats each day. (Didn’t want to pay the $50/day for a slip.) I just can’t say enough good things about John and Maria… The only thing we needed was another week to stay and enjoy this awesome place!

This is the second time staying at this property. Best part of this property is pool and close location to sunset marina. Lots of room to spread out.

Blended family vacation at Dale Hollow

We really liked the location and size of this property. Its a 3 minute drive to Sunset Marina but very secluded and private. It accommodated my wife and me, our 6 children, and 3 of their friends comfortably. The property owners live close and were wonderful to communicate with. The property was clean and we were allowed to check in early. The pool was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. We did all of our cooking at the house and my only complaint for the week was that they do not have a great selection of cookware or utensils. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely book there again.

It was great, the pool was all we needed.. close to store and gas station,, away from everyone and private. Close to marina when we rented a pontoon for a day, not far to travel.. Wonderful!!

Family vacation

We had a great time! The house had enough room for the 11 of us to spread out. Pool was a wonderful addition. Owners were very attentive and even brought treats for our kids. Would definitely stay again!
