Designed for comfortable coastal living, this 2-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 6 guests and features a queen master suite with a private bath and deck access, along with a second bedroom furnished with two double beds and a bath.

    The upper living level provides a bright, open-concept layout with comfortable seating, dining space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a convenient half bath that opens to an oceanside deck — perfect for relaxing after a day of island exploring.

    Guests have access to resort-style amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private under-house entry, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Best time in the outer banks!

We couldnt have been happier with our stay! The storm cottage was beautiful, with excellent views of both the beach and bay. The location was close to a local supermarket and several amazing restaurants. We will definitely be returning next summer!

Visit to Hatteras Island

This was our first time staying at Lighthouse View. We found the accommodations clean and everything in good working order. There was plenty of room to walk the family dog in and around the cottage. We enjoyed the safe family atmosphere.

Family Vacation

Very convenient spot - close to the beach and anything else you'd need/want. Plenty of room to spread out and relax - comfortable! Need to provide quests with more washcloths and would be nice to stock kitchen with a very few basics - salt, pepper, and olive oil, for instance.

Great little beach house

Located near the beach short walk. This is a side by side unit of which the other occupants and dogs can be heard at times. Many things provided to make it an easy and enjoyable stay from home ...bring extra towels. Washer and dryer under unit was a great addition

Summer at the best beach

Both sides of the Storm Cottage was rented by family and gave us a home away from home. We were able to share time together and prepare family meals.Would love to return again in the future!

Wonderful Rental but Inspect ALL property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family really enjoyed staying in this unit. The multi-level floorplan with 2 deck spaces was great. It was also nice to have an outdoor shower, grill and storage space below the unit. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience after checking out and were charged for holes in a blanket that we did not use. Since we brought our dog to the beach, the holes were blamed on the dog and a $60 fee was added to our account. Excessive charges for a blanket that stayed in the closet during our stay! Be sure to inspect everything and report any little damage when you check in.

Very Comfy Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage is 2 min walking distance from beach. Very comfortable, our family of 4 enjoyed it very much. Owner was always available for any special needs or questions. We did have a family of young kids staying in the unit next to us who liked to run up and down the stairs, so it got noisy, but as long as neighbors are mindful of each other, this shouldn't be a problem. Would stay here again!

Perfect amount of space for the 3 adults, one child, and 2 dogs we had with us! Pictures are accurate, was clean and tidy, great location to easily walk to beach / pool! Love that the outdoor shower looked new!

Long weekend mid april

Excellent location, spacious and so close to the water! Host was very easy to get in touch with if needed, check in/out process was very efficient. My only criticism would be the windows were missing screens and a few other kitchen items available would have been helpful. Still would recommend and use again!

Short walk to beach, beautiful home

The home was beautiful and well decorated and comfortable. I could walk to the beach in a few minutes. I had everything in the kitchen to prepare meals for a few days. The location was very convenient, with a grocery store only a few minutes away, and the Cape Hatteras lighthouse a very short drive. I loved that I could see the beams of light from the property. The property had two bedrooms with two full baths, which was very convenient. Every time I communicated with property management I got a very prompt response.

Family get away

We super enjoyed our stay in Buxton! The house was in a convenient location with a super short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We also enjoyed the top deck!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello - I wanted to send a note to say thank you and to say we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and has comfortable beds and couches. Also, there were a few issues to bring to your attention. Nothing major, but items you should be aware of, such as the light above the microwave was not working. Also, the screen in the kitchen window appears to have been cut. We noticed a few dead bugs on the window seal in the kitchen and several roaches were seen outside on the decks and in the bedrooms during our stay. We had trouble opening, closing and locking the sliding door in the living room. It appears to be hitting wood on the other door that is not allowing it to open/close easily. Again, we enjoyed our stay...just not the roaches. :) Thank you,Angela Kingery

A nice getaway

We had a great long weekend at this property. Overall a great experience, lots of space, we loved the outdoor shower. Dishwasher tablets, linens, towels and a wash cloth to wash dishes provided! Bring paper towels, salt and pepper since those were not provided! Deducted one point for overall cleanliness- ceiling fans had a lot of dust and there were water bottles from a previous guest left underneath one of the beds but overall it was a great house and 4 doors down from the beach which was excellent.

Perfect relaxing vacation

Loved our time here. Came down with my wife along with her sister and boyfriend (4 adults total) and this house was the perfect size and layout! Decent sized kitchen and plenty of seating in the living area. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the deck furniture and had a pretty good view of both the ocean and sound. Late night cocktails on the deck were a hit every night. Very short walk to the beach and there’s a convenience store that’s also in walking distance. The front office even hooked me up with some decaf coffee for my wife when I forgot to pack it. Any time we’re looking to get away from everything and just relax we will be coming back here. One word of warning, the comforters on the beds are a fairly low quality, they remind me of a cheap roadside motel. I’d recommend bringing a blanket or two from home just to make sure you’re comfortable at night.
