"The owner was very nice and accommodating. The parking was very conveniently located on the property. The property was stocked very well. When we requested a fan, the owner immediately brought one to us! Overall a very good experience! We would definitely return. "

"This is a nice place,the area was pretty and the cabin was nicely furnished but be aware that no soap, shampoo or dish soap is provided, the toilet room is also very small( like airplane or smaller) Also there is a $95 fee for bed linens as well as a cleaning fee and a deposit on top of what you already paid. "

"Our stay was great, fell in love with the town of Abcoude ( short drive or train to Amsterdam ) apartment was fine but description of rooms and bathrooms doesn’t match. It has two bedrooms ( not 3 as it is stated) and 1 toilet, two showers and 1 bathtub. It is described as two toilets and two showers. Great location in the middle of town with restaurants and supermarket close by. Fairly clean , just a few cowwebs in corners and under beds. Extremely steep staircase . Overall, a great place "

"Amazing location. But it is a basement unit and there were a few weird things about it. The sink in the bathroom has a huge faucet that makes it impossible to wash your face and challenging even to brush your teeth. There were tons of decorative pillows but only two you would want to put your face on. But overall a very nice stay, just not sure I'd call it a luxury apartment."

"We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It is conveniently located on a picturesque canal street within reasonable walking distance of attractions, shops, and dining. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The apartment is all on one level, which was nice as well. Initially determining the location of the key box and the apartment door were a bit tricky, as the key box is up a short flight of stairs to the right of the actual apartment door, and there are 189, 189A, and 189B street...

"Our stay at the Canal House was just what we had envisioned!! Perfectly located near everything that we wanted to see and do and the accommodations were perfect; quiet, clean, and comfortable!!Evert was a great host there if we needed anything but did not try to be part of our experience.The only challenging thing is the stairs to the 2nd floor apartment, alone they are fine with luggage it is a test of strength and balance, but the trip up is more than worth the effort."
