"Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"

"The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

"The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places."

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. "Nice hotel just needs ripped wallpaper replaced ,hallways looked shabby.Room just ok, no wardrobe just a hook on a very squeaky bathroom door.Wasnt told our room key also unlocked main front door so was locked out for 10 minutes at 11.45pm.Staff nice & breakfast very tasty .Gardens also nice"

"The room was good, dinner was enjoyable, and the staff were generally friendly. Unfortunately, breakfast left a poor final impression. When I checked in, I was told breakfast was served between 7:00 and 9:00. As I thought I might need to leave at 7:00, I asked whether I could have a takeaway breakfast instead. My train was delayed the following morning, so at 6:20 I asked whether I could change back to the buffet I had paid £14 for, as I no longer needed to leave until 7:30. I was told the...
