"We had a bit of a hiccup when checking in with parking but the host quickly rectified the issue. The pictures are a little different than what is actually at the house. We were expecting a different couch and a small table but none of those items were present. Then, after check in, the host was in the home putting together a new kitchen table. "Great neighborhood, and close to the metro stop so traveling around the city was so easy! Some of the items in the apartment were a little shabby (older towels and blankets, light switches and baseboards could use a good scrubbing), but overall very neat, clean, and well stocked. We also really liked having the washer/dryer available! Host made it a point to make sure we had our check-in info before arrival."

"There wasn’t any glassware or real coffee cups, only disposable. The sugar packets with all the choices of sweeteners was a total waste once you had used the kind you wanted because the rest would be thrown out. A microwave but no utensils. The luggage trolleys were very hard to manage. Whilst the staff were polite enough, they weren’t exactly welcoming or helpful. The Harris Teeter grocery store was well stocked and very convenient right next door. A short walk to the metro train station."
