"The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. "What a disappointment. We didn’t last 24 hours and here’s why: Once the small supply of peat turf and kindling for the fireplace was gone, there was no heat at all! The old outdated radiators never got warm. No welcome booklet or directions, only marketing materials for her other properties. No hooks to hang your coats. No closet. Only a few tiny drawers for clothes—with those drawers in the open-space living/dining room, no less. No trash receptacles outside which was really concerning....
