"I should have known better than to book this based on the reviews. Somewhere it said the cabin stunk like a dead animal and boy did it. The smell got worse when the furnace was on. Speaking of furnace, we froze our butts off due to no vents in living room and bedroom. It would have been a decent stay for the money had it not been for those two issues but they were big issues. "

"Very interesting community it is placed in. We rolled in around 10 at night and were a tad spooked. The place was very cute and clean. Only complaints are that we were overtaken by Asian Lady Beetles halfway through the trip, and that the pull-out couch had a part that would slide from under you. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, perfect for our late-night pancake making. We also got to watch Dance Moms, which is an extreme plus. Love you, Haydenville! Just a little scared of you."

"Very responsive owner and we had a wonderful time including a hike on the trails. Had small issue with the instant hot water however the owner responded right away and it worked fine for us. We choose not to use the compost toilet but managed just fine. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!"

"The property is awesome. My wife uses a wheel chair and was able to access all areas of the property unassisted. The cabin is just the right size with loads of goodies for guests to use. "Owner is great to work with. Super friendly and easily accessible. The room is simple and affordable. Internet is fast enough to work from the location and I use voice over IP. I use the location to drive in late and drop my kid off at OU. I spend the night and work a 1/2 day in the morning so I don’t have to miss a full days work transporting my kid. A great find I was reluctant to share because I want it only for myself. "
