Peaceful quiet relaxing home

We loved our stay in this home. Close to many hiking areas, scenery is lovely. The home itself has all you could need. Beds are comfortable. WiFi is good. The hot tub was clean and the sounds of the river below were very relaxing. Highly recommend this home.

Simply Stunning

The property is absolutely gorgeous. I studied the provided photos and online 3D tour extensively before my visit, and I was still blown away by the beauty of the home. Legitimately Luxury. Home was easy to access with provided details, but also felt very secure and private. 10/10 Home, 10/10 Vacasa Support. Could not ask for a better trip. Highly Recommend!

Beautiful home and location!

Absolutely lived our stay, the outdoor living spaces were perfect and we spent much of our time just sitting outside listening to the river. Home has every amenity, probably the most well equipped house we’ve ever rented! There is no path to the river which was disappointing as it appeared that the house was perfectly situated to walk down and spend the afternoon on the water, regardless, we loved the space and highly recommend this home.

Great Views

The property was amazing. It had great views and the house was very nice. There isn’t water access and the fire pit was filled in with dirt so we couldn’t use it. The pictures made it seem like we could access the river but was not the case. Other than that the property was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Everything was in good working order.

Amazing home with great views

We loved our stay here, the house is perfect with a fully stocked kitchen, amazing views and great hot tub. The only negative aspect was the cleaning provided by Vacasa was subpar: there was mice poop everywhere, big thick cobwebs everywhere and dust all over the place. I let them know and they did not provide any reasonable compensation or make do.

Beautiful home and location

We loved our stay, the scenery is awesome and the home is lovely and unique. We spent most of our time just sitting on the patio, looking at and listening to the river and scenery. Great property, 7 day stay, views are amazing, so relaxing. Very well stocked. Everything you could need in a kitchen, except maybe plastic wrap and foil, but the small store in Salyer is wonderful, literally seems to have everything, and Rays grocery store not too far either, so easy to run and grab what you need. The beds are very comfortable. WiFi worked well. The hot tub was clean. You can soak in the hot tub and look at the river. Very cool. We would recommend this home.

Misleading and Dirty

At first glance, this property is stunning. The views are breathtaking and the basics seemed clean. The house was HOT upon arrival, despite requesting early arrival. No AC was on nor were any fans turned on. After taking a minute to settle in, it appeared that this property had been vacant for quite some time; there were dead bugs everywhere inside the home, including in the sheets. The exterior was dirty and needed someone to come in with a blower; there were cobwebs everywhere, including on outdoor furniture, and lots of tree debris. We traveled for work and were very much looking forward to using the hot tub but found it dirty as well. I shocked the hot tub with chemical and had to clean it myself before use (not ideal at this price point). Additionally, there were very few back up washcloths or towels for a group of 4 (this house sleeps 6) and very bare bones in terms of soaps, etc. Dishwashing pods, hand soap, and laundry pods. Don't expect any extras or fluff in this home. Prepare to have WIFI calling enabled at this house, you will not be able to make or receive any calls. There are landlines but no dial tone. The power went out in Trinity County while we were there and we were thankful for the two charged night lights but couldn't find any flashlights. We could not make calls without WIFI and no working landline. An alarm beeped all night long. Long story short, this property is beautiful but not equipped to host guests in a remote location. 👎

Fantastic Weekend

California Getaway

Stayed last week of April. Weather was perfect. Excellent property with relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful view. We were able to unplug for the week and recharge. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was perfect. Beautiful scenery to and from our destinations as well. Plenty of wineries to choose from. We would definitely choose this property again.

Incredible Beauty & Solitude

First of all, the house was so creatively designed, with so many windows filling it with light, to the Master Bedroom's exotic design and décor. Nothing was over looked in comfort or quality. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted nothing was missing. Vacasa personnel where friendly and very helpful. The house was located right up from river and every day we watched Eagle(s) fly up and down and often perch on the other side. We took pictures each day of the changing light on the cliff side opposite us. We seldom left the house for our two week stay and we came home rebalanced and recharged. We will be going back again and again. Thank you owners so much for sharing their magical home. ♥

Absolutely Gorgeous

This was a last minute get-away for my birthday with some friends and it was absolutely gorgeous. So peaceful and beautiful. The house was lovely with views from all the windows. I saw bald eagles over the river each day I was there. The hot tub, the wood burning fireplace, the huge kitchen, the windows, the walk down to the river... it was all perfect and I can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful location in a beautiful home.

The views and attention to all details in this home are stunning. The river is a little hike down with a nice rope to help. Stay left for the easier trail. The acoustic s for playing music are out of this word! We will be back!

Peaceful and relaxing home

This home was absolutely stunning, with large windows to take in the various views of the mountains and river. It was extremely clean (more than I expected for an isolated location in the woods, to be honest) and the beds and couches were so comfortable! We loved the BBQ, the fireplaces, kitchen, and even the "mood" lighting throughout the house, which made it super cozy. Instructions and info from Vacasa were great; definitely do your shopping ahead of time. Due to recent fires and mudslides, check caltrans for updated traffic info as there is really only the one highway leading to the home and there were hour+ delays (coming from the east or west) which would make trips to the store even more challenging. The home is private but there are some other houses nearby. You can access the river but it's down a steep trail past the hot tub, with ropes to help folks get down and back up - the river is further away than the pics suggest (steep drop off) but if you have adventurous folks, you can make it - otherwise there is other access nearby. Thank you Vacasa for a relaxing and peaceful week in the forest!

Beautiful house

This is an amazing house. It is remote, but great if you have all your supplies. Backs up to National forest so lots of animal watching. Bears are present, and amazing to watch. Unfortunately, we worried about the monument fire nearby for our entire stay. Lost power as heading out in the last day. Gave management suggestions on little fixes needed, but none really hindered our experience. The owners are sharing their slice of paradise and have stocked the house with everything you will need. Drive to Redwood National Park is about 2 hours away.

Great home on the river

We had a great stay at this home on the Trinity River. It's very private, with huge windows for beautiful views of the river and wildlife. It was a good base for us to relax for a few days, to go rafting and to explore the river. Once again Vacasa did a great job of preparing and cleaning the house and providing all the amenities we needed. Definitely recommend this stay.

Great Stay. Is isolated

We absolutely loved the Trinity River Vista property. Make sure you have all of your provisions before heading there as there are no services super close by. The location is somewhat isolated and has soothing views of the Trinity River below. The hot tub and dining deck were very enjoyable.
