Skyfall

This property had breathtaking views. The mountainy terrain was hard to navigate the first few times but then it was easy and loved the privacy staying at Mountain Air.

Amazing!!

So much better than expected or than the photos portrayed! We loved our time at SkyFall in the Mountain Air community in Burnsville, NC.The view from the back porch of the house was unbelievably beautiful! Sunrise in the morning from the mountain overlook side and sunset from the little porch above the front door in the evening. Stunning!!This home provided all we could ask for and more for our group of 6 adults. A terrific kitchen to whip up tasty meals for everyone, a terrific hot tub to relax in after a long day of work, and plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and unwind on their own. I would 100% recommend this house and hope that we have the opportunity to rent it again for a family gathering in the near future.

Skyfall's views and amenities made for a great stay near Asheville

Skyfall is a beautiful and very well-appointed home. Check-in was simple, the neighborhood guard house was ready for our arrival, and the house was very clean. All of the appliances and amenities seemed up to date and well cared for, and the views are amazing. The property is a great mix of luxurious and homey! We would highly recommend Skyfall and Carolina Mornings.

Very Nice

We had a great time. Rained quite a bit, but the theater room, pool table, and ping pong kept the kids fully occupied, as well as us. The nearby area was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the hikes and waterfalls nearby.

Wonderful property, great view, amazing activities.

Finding the property was surprisingly easy. From my experience, Apple Maps was accurate and we had a good signal the whole time. Don’t be afraid, just follow the directions. The house was wonderful. Everyone loved their room, the hot tub, the movie room and everything else. 10/10. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Small family with a toddler

Our stay was great. All amenities were as described. Our toddler enjoyed the space. We had no safety concerns for her, even with a multi-story deck and staircase. The “kids room” was a good setup for her travel crib but even had a floor bed if you need that. We brought one but found multiple step stools that made her access to sinks very easy. The theater room was right beside the kids room but never disturbed her when we watched a movie in the evenings. The kitchen was well appointed - even had some plates, cups, and utensils that worked for her - and everything we needed to cook at the house. The neighborhood is very nice. Private but not isolated. Lots of wildlife - deer, bunnies, groundhog, butterflies, and plenty of bird watching. Beautiful views of the sunset from the front of the house. The view from the deck on the back and hot tub are outstanding. A small park and trails in the neighborhood were fun to explore. And it was only a short drive to the fully stocked grocery store in Burnsville, a few restaurants, and playgrounds. A little longer drive (30-40 minutes) to the Parkway, other small towns, and longer hikes. The house was clean. The property managers were very communicative. Check in and out was seamless. Definitely planning to book this property again in the future.

Perfect weekend

Beautiful house in an incredible gated community. Absolutely stunning views. Between the pool table, hot tub and theater room we had everything we needed for a fun stay-at-home weekend. We will definitely be going back.

Breathtaking View

We spent our Thanksgiving here & had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful & has an amazing view of the mountains. It was well stocked with everything you may need. Plenty of room for more than one family. We couldn’t have ask for a better trip.

Excellent Property, Amenities, and Views

Skyfall is a beautiful property in a gated neighborhood a short drive from downtown Burnsville. The scale and quality of the home are impressive, and there’s lots of room to stretch out. The pool table and ping pong table were tons of fun. The management company was quick to reply to questions. Highly recommended!

Luxury with breath taking views.

The house is even better in person! We enjoyed staying here so much and will be back. The home is fully furnished with all the needed amenities provided. The views are breath taking! The management team was responsive with all the information one would need. My only complaint would be that the mattresses are very hard., like sleeping on a hard surface. However, all the other benefits of the house outweighed it. We will be staying here again.

Disastrous Christmas Holiday

The house is beautiful & everything our family wanted. However, the property management company that Carolina Mornings uses, failed to check the property during the hard freeze & properly communicate with our family. That is the only reason I gave it an overall rating of a 3. When we made it to the house on Christmas Eve we soon discovered that all the pipes were frozen. It was too late for us to find another property for our family for Christmas so after a full day of travel we had a family of eight who had no working water & had to stay the night & then on Christmas Day we had to pack up & leave. Lots of tears. I will say though that Carolina Mornings made things right on their end by refunding us our money, & did so expeditiously. I would rent from Carolina Mornings again.

Gorgeous Mountain Escape

Had a great time in this beautiful property. Spacious and secluded with a fantastic view over the valley below. Managing company was well organized, and proactively communicative about one issue prior to our arrival, and offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. Great stay overall!

The Perfect House in the Mountains

This home is spectacular. We enjoyed the movie room, hot tub, open and screened decks, and made wonderful meals in the fully stocked beautiful kitchen. The space was just perfect and everything we were hoping it would be!

Amazing Home

This was our second trip to Skyfall and we had such a wonderful time in the home. Everything was perfect and everyone loved it! Three couples and two children and a small dog…. Perfect amount of people for this amazing home in the mountains. And the view was incredible!

Wonderful Mountain Property

This is a wonderfully kept property which was extremely clean upon arrival. The pictures are exactly as it appears and very nicely appointed. Great for larger groups with plenty of beds and things to do in the house.

Asheville visit

Great house, great views. It was our first trip to the area. The community was great; staff at gate was friendly; grounds well kept; quiet. House was clean and well kept. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and screened porch with fireplace. It was bit of a drive to Asheville, around 45-60 minutes with traffic to get downtown, but was close enough to area attractions for s. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Home with an Amazing View

We stayed here for a long weekend birthday celebration and absolutely loved it. We took full advantage of all of their amenities, including the hot tub, pool table and the theater room. And the view from the house is incredible! Skyfall is a wonderful home and a fantastic place to celebrate any occasion.
