Absolutely amazing. Josh and Amy are very responsive to all questions. Not only is their home beautiful but it was spotless. The views from the back deck and hot tub are so beautiful. Of course my favorite part was being able to see those darling goats every morning, they are just the sweetest. Downtown Burnsville was also so much fun , we did a lot of site seeing during the day and then relaxed on the deck and hot tub and watched the beautiful sunset. Thank Josh and Amy, you can assure we will be back. Lisa and family.

My family and I came back for another peaceful, quiet getaway. The kids spent most of their time with the goats. There was plenty to do, including the hot tub, bonfires, roasting marshmallows, ping pong, and several indoor games. We enjoyed our stay, and the hosts checked in to make sure everything was fine.

This home was perfect even though there were only 4 of us. We appreciated that there were no bunk beds and our adult children were able to spread out and have our own spaces in comfort. We enjoyed the private location with close proximity to everything we had planned. The goat therapy was awesome! The hosts answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations on things to do. We will definitely book in the future if we are back in the area.

The property is beautifully landscaped and mountain views are amazing! From the time we booked until we checked out Josh and Amy were very responsive and helpful - answering any questions we had promptly! They offered us early check when they did not have anyone booked to check out the day of our arrival, which was so kind! The home was exceptionally clean 10 out of 10 🤩 We appreciated the small details like stocked coffee bar, drink holders in game room, towel hooks on the deck. Mattresses and sheets so comfortable! Fire pits, ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard and of course the GOATS during our short stay we were able to fit in Biltmore, hiking/waterfalls, Alpine Coaster, white water rafting and plenty of time relaxing at the property - very convenient location! Lots of great local restaurants and shopping!

Wedding Weekend

The Property was fantastic, it had all the amenities we were looking for to celebrate our nuptials with our adult children. The steep driveway and parking for large groups proved to be challenging but achievable. The Goats kept us entertained and the views are exceptional. We hired an officiant to come to the home for the indoor wedding with family and it was an amazing experience for both my wife and I. Definitely a great venue for an intimate wedding. Thanks to Josh, Amy & the Goats!

You HAVE to stay here!

We have our annual family mountain cabin get away and this stay by far is the BEST one yet!! The pictures are just as beautiful as the place is! It is super clean, and we were welcomed with almost 4” of snow our first night! What a treat for our grandkids! Josh was the perfect host who responded very fast with any question we had. Please do your family and favor and book a trip to this cabin!

Wheelchair Accessible if you have ramps

Our group of 6 women travelled from a pregnancy and parenting resource center, Life Choices, in Roxboro, NC, to bring items needed, a time of respite, good food, fun, and fellowship to our sister center, MY Life Center there in Burnsville. The main level bedroom and bathroom were large enough to fit in my wheelchair. Just needed my ramps to get up the 3 steps.

Great property with a great location. I can not say enough wonderful things about this property. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this one was our favorite, of course the goats were a nice added bonus. We enjoyed greeting them before our adventures and once we got home. The property was far enough off the beaten path in a quaint little town nearby, but still close enough to go do all the things. Will definitely book this property again if we are in the area.

Fun and spacious cabin

This house has it ALL!! Celebrated my 35th birthday with a girls trips. This place is beautiful and a gorgeous view. 2 full kitchens, hot tub, games, and more. The host was very responsive and kind. Definitely will come again.

Rent this place!!

A wonderful mountain eacape made perfect by the goats!! The cabin was amazing, super clean, kitchen well stocked with any cooking utensil you really need, hot tub was so nice and the views were incredible. Very easy drive to asheville. And of course the goats were super friendly and adorable! We had a perfect weekend here.

Excellent Review of a Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property, exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well-appointed with the basics. Josh, the host, is very responsive and communicative. We ran into the possibility of bad weather. Josh was proactive in his communication and he was planfull in thinking forward to our check out in the event of ice/snow. Don’t miss downtown Burnsville, so many fun shops and restaurants. Most of all… the GOATS!! The goats make this place so special.

Awesome Cabin!! Incredible Views!!

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was so comfortable and had something for everyone in our group! From the goats, to the great hot tub and the super comfy beds…our vacation was great! The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and tools we needed to have servers meals there in the cabin. The whole cabin was also very clean with no issues at all! Our family will definitely be booking here again on our next trip to the area!!
