Close to Burnsville, but far enough away to allow for a wonderful relaxing weekend. The home sits on the hillside above a beautiful river and there’s hiking on the property. The check-in process was seamless and all of our questions prior to arrival were answered promptly. This is a fantastic property and we hope to return again.

The water in the bathroom showers, including the one in the kitchen, smells horrible. It seems they have serious plumbing problems. We were practically unable to shower or enjoy cooking. I hope the owners fix this for future guests because the house is generally fine.

Beautiful, rustic area with shopping and dining within 15 minutes

This beautiful, secluded cabin offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy direct access to the river on the property, complete with tubes for some fun on the water and soothing river sounds around the cabin. For families, reliable internet is available when needed.Our experience was further enhanced by Laura, who was amazing—offering easy check-in, great communication, and thoughtful accommodation. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Wonderful Cabin

Location was perfect - close to town, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the woods. Beautiful 15m drive to Ingles grocery store for supplies if needed - has a Starbucks and excellent selection of fresh produce and meats. Cabin had great views of the stream and an enjoyed a quick walk to it. Cabin was so cozy and peaceful. Had all of the amenities of home. Quick wifi and plenty of streaming channels along w sports networks for the games. Great grill and the kids loved the hot tub. Will definitely be back if I don’t try and buy it! Lol

Lovely Property

The house was very nice & offered privacy. Rocking chairs on the porch were a great place to relax with a morning coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep, & we enjoyed having dinner at the outdoor dining table. The beds & bedding were very comfortable. The whole house was well appointed & the owner has paid attention to detail so that you have everything you might need (hair dryer, iron, starter coffee, etc.). The neighborhood is lovely. I would like to note that the river is not accessible from the house. You have to drive down to the pavilion area for access. Overall, this is a wonderful & relaxing place to stay. I would definitely return.

Magical Vacation Getaway

If you like sleeping on a cloud and stepping out on the front porch to a magical setting in the North Carolina Smoky Mountains, this is your happy place! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful home. The loft bedroom is like sleeping in an uber-comfortable tree house, very cool. The house has everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay, great beds, lovely location, and a friendly host. Thank you Laura for creating such a terrific haven!

Very Private and clean cabin

This was our first visit to Burnsville, and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very private, and was super cute, had everything we needed. It was very clean, and the host was wonderful. We were there in October, so the color of the leaves could not have been better. Oh, and the hot tub is amazing! And if you don’t feel like venturing out, there’s a lot to see right there on the property, The Cane River runs right through, very pretty.

Trip to Biltmore

Cabin was cozy and private. Nice hot tub overlooking water. Leaves have just started changing colors. Loved sitting in rocking chairs with hot coffee watching the leaves fall.

Peaceful cabin

Cabin was great. Very clean and very well stocked. The host Laura was very helpful. Lots of local information in notebook provided in the cabin. About 40-50 minutes north of Asheville. Town doesn't have very many restaurants and most close early but the local grocer Ingles is very well stocked. Great hiking in the area. About 1 hour from Grandfather Mountain (absolutely beautiful!) Hot tub after a day of hiking was fabulous.

Small getaway

Cabin was awesome. Only issue we had was tubing at the pavilion. Wasn’t very clear on what to do there. The rest of my family tubes from the bridge to the pavilion but it was rented out for what looked like a kids birthday party. I wish I would have known before we headed down there. I was not able to get in the river as I didn’t want to intrude on the party that was happening.

Long Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub overlooking the river was an added bonus. Plenty of firewood provided for the fireplace and firepit. Will definitely condsider staying again!

Little piece of paradise

Our favorite stay in 5 years of staying in the area. Remote but close to what you need. We stayed in December, the fireplace & hot tub were amazing. Cabin is so cozy & clean. Owners were very kind & accommodating. Looking forward to future bookings.

Mountain getaway

Nice little getaway--lots of room to explore in the immediate vicinity and plenty of other nearby nature/hiking areas around. The cabin itself is cozy. There was some crazy weather when we were there (wind) which knocked the power out a few times and blew a bunch of debris into the hot tub--when I called the rentor to ask if there were any cleaning utensils for it she came by and cleaned it up.

Long weekend getaway

We booked a last minute trip to a cabin in Burnesville, NC. The cabin was quaint, cozy and secluded. It had everything we needed, plus a hot tub! It was a much needed break for us from the daily hussle of work and school. We all enjoyed it. The cabin has an open concept living and dining area with an open loft. The loft was great for the boys with twin beds and their own bathroom. The master bedroom was comfortable with an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to start our mornings with coffee and breakfast and end our evenings making dinner. One of my favorite things was listening to the sound of the river running. It was a little too cold to hike and take in the views but that would be a great reason to visit again.
